Half arsed sloppy tackling attempts all over the ground, Fletcher on his own in our goal square like some kind of sick joke. Flooding like the good old days because we are so desperate not to get smashed again.

And yet we are not even a goal behind, so well done Neeld. You've managed not to count us out of the contest at quarter time.

Well strange 1st quarter, bit of old fashioned flooding it looks, seems the ball has been on Essendons forward line for most of the quarter, yet theyve only kicked 1 goal? Some good defensive work under pressure by the Dees, some good marks from Watts. Oh well 3 pts at 1/4 time.....guess wed take that.

Great pressure from the boys tonight. Enjoyable to watch. amazing how things come off for them when the stop they flow in the other direction.
