It happened right near me and you hear the thump! and it sounded awesome, looked legit and not too high, but I did not cath a reply on the screen at the ground, has there been replays and is he in trouble?

one more year on his body and the rest of the team - will take it up to Hawthorn.

We just generally look small when we play them - but I don't see why guys like Tapscott, Chippa, Trenners, even Watts (if he continues with preseason 10 and 11) can't "draw a line in the sand" in 2012

Yep would be great if someone other than a first year rookie was able to show as much aggression to the contest.

I thought that was one of the standouts for the game. I loved the way they were hard at the ball even when it was done and dusted.

"Contact between Melbourne's Luke Tapscott and Hawthorn's Shane Savage from the third quarter of Sunday's match was assessed. Savage has handballed the ball to a teammate when he is met in a bump by player Tapscott. After viewing the available footage and receiving a medical report from the Hawthorn Football Club, it was determined there was no forceful high contact to player Savage. No further action was taken."

Was a great hit, fired me up, and fired the team up momentarily. Love tappy and his rep is growing. I want opponents to be scared to even go near the ball when its in tappys vicinity.

Ps has the bull got even bigger since before his injury? Hes gotta be pushing 90kg now.

Really irritates me that every good bump gets the attention of the MRP...

Case in point: Riewoldt. I cannot believe that got 3 weeks, reduced to 1 via a good record and a guilty plea. Effectively the same thing as Ottens who raised an elbow to the head behind play. Riewoldt's bump, to me, looked completely innocent.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
