This is a tricky exercise. If you had said in June 2006 that 5 years down the track, the best player at the MFC would be between Colin Sylvia and Mark Jamar, you would have been laughed at. I'm sure players like Nathan Jones, Brock McLean and Matthew Bate were being thrown around back then.

But let's do it anyway.

I'm going to say Jack Watts. Just can't see how anyone will be able to stop him should he continue to improve the way he has been.

I'll say Gysberts, there's just something about him that is so cool, and he doesn't shirk a contest even being slightly built and lanky. Good over head, will kick goals, will be creative.

His upside is massive.

I'm going to say the big Max Factor. I am amazed at what he can do as a 19 year old 208cm ruckman returning from a serious knee injury - cannot wait to see how good he is as a mid 20 year old, which is when most ruckman really start to hit their straps.

Max Gawn's tackle at the city end was just sublime for a big man!!!

That is the commitment needed each game if we are to rise. (Not just at the MCG either.)

That kid could be anything.

In 5 years Scully will be a Premiership Captain with Trengove, Mckenzie & Watts his deputies.

I will say Jurrah if Watts Howe and Cook allow him to play his natural game by them taking the bigger and better backman. Want him to play a Stevie J role eventually.
