I'm going to call AW again tonight I think. Tell them I called on the way home from the Hawthorn game and that that was WORSE.

I said after that game that we should sack him. Now if we don't sack him, we should be ashamed.

So this is our improvement, we are playing last years wooden spooners!!!!!!!!!!!

If we keep playing like this we'll bloody well be this year's wooden spooners. I saw more fight out of the Gold Coast than out of this bunch of sissies.

Big second half.

Season defining.

And for some... CAREER defining

BAILEY???

Interesting to see that DemonsHQ stopped tweeting 13 minutes into the second quarter - methinks they were copping a lot of heat.

No way would Malthouse or Roos want to coach this bunch of girls.

Disagree. A Top Line coach would love to get his hands on this list...The Talent is there, they need leadership & Direction from above.

Gysberts off... on this huge ground you take off a midfield runner and replace him with a forward when we've kicked 32 points in 3 quarters of football. WHAT THE F?!

There is no excuse for being so lazy, so careless, so utterly limp.

They have to make changes for the sake of showing these players that you have to earn games by trying. I don't care if they stuff up their kicks or decision making, but MAKE A GODDAMN EFFORT!

Ugh, this week needs to end already.

Well I told myself I wasn't gonna winge here after the first quarter

But I can't stop myself, west coast have been poor we should be losing by atleast 10 goals.

If we don't win this quarter I'm gonna Hand my membership in to the club, this is the worst performance in 2 years

And it's not acceptable!

as charles barkley once said...we have a bad team

Was he talking about the Cleveland Cavaliers?

We are worse.

I'm actually ashamed to be a Melbourne surppoter. So soft I counted 5 players that stutter stepped and lifted there heads.

Trust Watts to start coming to the fore in a flogging. Also, no wonder we don't get Friday night/round opening games often. I probably enjoyed the second half against the hawks more. Eagles are just toying with us, all the BS fancy crap is working for them and we can barely keep our feet.

Good luck on 40K dees.

I really hope we don't paper over any cracks in the last quarter and win by 3/4 goals. We need to be under the spotlight of the entire football community, not just fed up Demon supporters.

Trengove good again, Watts showed something under pressure. Jones and Jamar having a crack.

Message to Tom Scully, do yourself a favour and sign a 5 year deal with GWS, at least the will be a decent side in four years, where Melbourne have shown nothing in the last 4.

And that gold coast game looked good only because of the last quarter. Face the facts melbourne have shown nothing in the last 4 years in development and will not win a flag during the supposed window of 2013-2016.

[censored] JOKE SIDE.

Next years member tally, - 3 for this household. We have been members since I was 12 (18 years).

Anyone wanna debate Moloney would have been a better choice as Captain anymore?

We are a bunch of wussy boys, and our well-presented, media savvy, friendly Captain is partly to blame.

Sure Beamer may get on the [censored], not be as well spoken as Greeny, but who is the better onfield leader? No contest at this stage.

There is no unity in this team at all, we have tried to manufacture it by picking blokes who know each other etc, but that only goes so far.

It is up to the captain and the coach to unite the team, inspire them, teach them, and lead them, but both are currently failing to do so.

who else notices that Watts often goes u[p alone... no other bastard provides coverage or blocking !! poor Melbourne..very poor. actually...[censored] WEAK !!!

Listening to the game on the radio and 4 goals in three QTRs is definately not good enough the excuse that its a young list is getting really boring and I have had enough. like ive said before its time for this club to step up otherwise its gonna be the same old demons everyone is used to :( and im really dissapointed they had better do something quickly I dont care... turn it around MFC this is crap!!!

Something HAS to change. Whether it's fair or not, this is the absolute end for Bailey. I'm hating the thought of showing my face at work tomorrow. Players must take plenty of blame for such a pathetic, insipid "effort" ("effort" is too flattering a word for what we've seen for 3 quarters).

Posted

Bailey loves the word competitive...it's a pity were not even a bit....Roos or Malthouse anyone? What a difference Hird has has made to Ess.

Did anyone noticed how ineffective Morton's tackle on Kerr was...gee we look soft, disorganised and badly prepared...

I wish I supoprted someone else...........sick of feeling like crap

Dont know what to say......feel gutted.

Feel sorry for my 10 year old son,"I thought we were gonna be better this year dad"

Im sick of defending us.

I dont want him to suffer like i have the last 40 years.

We need to make a statement, no more talk.

No more "potential".

Sack Bailey and all his assistants, keep Viney, get an actual backline coach, not a loser bulldogs midfielder.

Im done..........sigh....

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
