All good WYL. I just knew, in my opinion, that he did dominate against us in some games, but he is nearer the end now and not as much of a concern.

No Josh Fraser has never Dominated the MFC!!! Cheap stats do not tell a full story.

Given it is the GC's first home game, I think he will play.

2nd Home Game.....Carlscum were the lucky Bastards to get them first.

Has there ever been an easier AFL 4 points on offer???

Grr i despise Carlscum so much!!!!!

TAB has suspended betting, i'm guessing when the odds get re-announced we will be paying about 1.05

Pretty much guarantees victory. Even if we play shockingly like last week, we should still win comfortably.

Going into the bye with 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss- and still haven't hit 3rd gear- is not a bad result at all!

Our draw this year is really helping us. If we are even half good we should really make top 10 comfortably, and top 8 isn't without a chance

It's fair to say that I will kill myself if we lose this match... or win by less than 40 points... or lose a single critical stat.

MASSSSSSSIVE blow to the Suns, bahaha!

Bail will get a chance to roam a bit more freely, mayhaps?? Be a bit more attacking now that Gold Coast are without any dangerous players?

We SHOULD destroy the Suns now... obliterate them.

1.09. Line at 46.5 and we should cover that as a minimum.

Thats a great point. Carlton went in after the Rnd1 warm up game, and Suns were cold & shadowy for their first up game.

Interesting to hear he pulled up sore from last week's game when I saw him playing mixed netball on Sunday night in Melb.

There was a lot of criticism about the way the Brisbane Bears were put together as a team in 1987 when they made their debut in the VFL. However, they were far more competitive to start with than Gold Coast so far. Most of the Bears players had spent time in the VFL system and had some senior experience whereas many of the Suns' kids have been thrown to the wolves. While some might benefit from this experience, I suspect that others are going to fall by the wayside because of lack of proper grounding.

As for today, I hope that Melbourne exploits this experience and lack of leadership in as ruthless a manner as possible. The club had its chances last week and blew them with a poor start but really, we will be the joke of the competition if we don't put this lot away early.

Yep. I wonder if that contributed to his general soreness? Bet that would make headlines :P

The million dollar man is a colossal out for the Suns, really should make for some interesting viewing if it wasn't already.

Hopefully somewhere is this training drill Tapscott gets a run up forward.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
