Brad Harvey (who is training with us) is probably the best remaining young player imo.

Josh Walker, Jamie Solly, Callum Sinclair and Jonathan Giles are the other ones that interest me the most.

Ok Lets go all out shall we?

Jack-the-ripper

If nothing else should be able to 'cut' the opposition to pieces

No, I'm serious.

There was a kid in the draft called Jack Frost. Tall forward.

Had some promise.

Unless he was picked already & I didn't notice...

I thought you were being humorous.. there really is a Jack Frost (some parents,...honestly)

Sandy Dragons - Bomber supporter

going by his BIO ,needs a bit of work on his game.

Looks tho he was overlooked.

Really is a lottery for a rookie with so many and any number 1 or 2 could end up being a gem.

I'm sure they have done their homework for our remaining vacant rookies.

I'm on Tom Mac to be retained (shows promise) just seems a waste not to give him another season.

I'm still hopeful on Scott Simpson

Only because I think we can use someone with

some vigour on the forward line

Same applies on the backline, need for a toughnut

down back.

I havent forgotten, Tapscott, if he can step up

I think he looks like he could run through a brick wall.

"Hungry" Jack,,, which one?

Maybe we could get some action, sponsorship action?

I'd be happy if we can acquire Jackson Sketcher or Brad Harvey.

The former joint-winner of the TAC Cup league b&f and captain of sandringham.

Have you seen Jackson play?

Only once.

Wasn't paying much attention to him in particular at the time.

So you've seen him play once and you think we should recruit him>?

Move over Barry Prendergast I think we have found your replacement.

Rookie list, genius.

Got any better suggestions?

You don't usually offer much, so I'd be surprised if you do.

Some of us me included are thinking PJ will be retained but I was just thinking, is he even training with us ? I haven't seen him in one photo.

Yes he is training with us.

All I can say is that you must be more hopeful than Simpson is himself because he's taking the year off VFL to see if he can get his body right at his local club.

Of course, he could be foxing but I think that would be highly unlikely.

That just killed it

He must be in a bad way. i thought maybe they told him to lay low

for the 2nd part of the season.

Of course, he could be foxing but I think that would be highly unlikely.

Would have to agree, he didnt show that much, to warrant going to all

this trouble to keep him under the radar.

Too bad for him and us, Could have used a big strong body.

But on the bright side, it gives Cook, Howe,Fitzpatrick a better chance

to do their stuff as forwards, with Casey.

He won't be rookied by us. Tom Mac still a chance.

I wouldn't mind if we picked Jaryd Atkinson - ex essendon. We may need a bit more pace on tha backline and he's got tons.

I also like what i've seen of Cameron Johnston. He can run and kick - very handy skills at 181cms.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
