Demonland Prediction of the Week

Since I get it completely wrong every week...

Melbourne to lose by 16 goals

Sylvia to get a 12 week suspension for punching Brown in the nuts

Jack Watts to announce pre-game that he is moving to the GC

If the complete opposite happens (i.e.- we win by 16 goals, Sylvia kicks 12 goals and Watts announces he signed for 10 years) do I still win? :P

I don't think Slyvia kicking 12 goals is the opposite of being suspended for 12 weeks...you need to come up with something better than that. Slyvia being awarded 12 fifty meter penalties perhaps? :)

- Maric to kick opening goal of the game

- Liam Jurrah to sit on Brennans head

- Jack Watts to play better at the Gabba this year as apposed to last time around

- Myself to be jumping around my loungeroom at about 10.30pm Saturday night.

Melbourne to scrape into the eight thanks to the drawn game. Roll Fremantle in a thriller at Subiaco, then take revenge on the Dogs before facing St. Kilda in the Preliminary. Watts kicks his 5th to put us up by 3 points with 90 seconds left on the clock. Ball ends up in their attacking 50 in the hands of Bartram, that's all I can see.

If we make the finals I would want us to beat the Hawks in a final after getting a dodgy free kick on the siren.

Brisbane by 19 points. Fev to go nuts.

(I have that horrible feeling about this week. Brisbane on the rebound after two smackings, Melbourne coming off a huge win (mental letdown), poor travel record, Voss playing mind games etc).

I hope i am wrong by 15 goals the other way.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
