Can anyone verify the below link on Gys?

Could the Dees have struck gold with young Jordon Gysberts?

I'm keeping an eye on this kid I've heard from a very good reliable source he is already performing way past expectations.

Don't forget Jim Stynes has been down to training lately...that in itself will inspire all our players and coaches to push harder.

That's why i think we shall suprise a lot of people this year.

Not only is he the lynch pin in this clubs resurgance, he is fighting the ultimate fight publically.

That has to inspire all who come close.

Hopefully recruiting Gysberts is a Fantastic choice and he makes the most of it....

Who is that guy? The Poster? Doesn't really offer much in the way of backing up his statement..

People have knocked Gysberts for his kicking and i'm not sure why, but he finished equal 2nd in the kicking test at Draft camp, which at least shows he can use both feet relatively well.. He's an AIS boy as well.

People knocked Grimes for his kicking as a draftee, but from what i've seen he's a superb kick, despite having a slightly awkward looking action..

Gysberts seems like a very good decision maker too. Clean below the knees... i'm sure there's a good reason why we spent pick 11 on him...

I think we can expect all of our 1st 4 picks to figure for us this year. Exciting times ahead..

Apparently has played a bit of footy and has done quite well. His first name is Jordan and he is easy going likes Hoe-downs, mushrooming and The Simpsons.

Um, didnt everyone finished 'equal 2nd' in that kicking test?! :)

I've been looking at photos of training at Casey and notice there aren't any houses down there. Therefore, they must all be training the house down  !

nice

if i go to training on friday morning i'll keep an eye out for him.

Hope theres a lil report coming our way bbb?

From what i've seen I would say it is his best preseason ever.

again, nice

And THAT thread was started by the site founder who is obviously trying to boost activity on his forum.

Noticed that too, but i suspect he's a Dees supporter. there seemed to be 3 times as many topics / responses in the MFC section if you check it out.. may be worth showing support there, as well as here, if so..

I'm pretty sure I overheard someone on the train the other day saying that he doesn't even flip his pillow over when it gets warm.

bahahaha this thread is hillarous!!! But maybe I just had really low expectations, hence the thread is actually just average... perhaps like the expecatations on Gys.

Uh oh, I was called by an insider at the club this morning at around 3am.

It seems the club are worried that he hasn't even made his debut yet and we may look to delist him mid season so there's more room in the showers and one less player to handcuff at the end of season footy trip.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
