i beleive that we will have an ok draw, first 2 games on a saturday against some bigger drawing clubs at the G, one home, one away..

A good way to start. only one friday night appearance though, which is to be expected. The rest is pretty standard demon / AFL fixturing!

Thanks!

But please more information!!!

Who we playing round 1? I'm tipping Hawthorn.

How many interstate?

I know we play Port mid year in Darwin.

Cheers.

And can we trust you as a source? Cam Schwab won't let anything out of the bag

not sure on the interstate element to be honest, but we have Rnd 22 in melbourne.

Buddy is suspended round 1 I think.

I'm sick of playing Hawthorn first up. Wish it was West Coast at the G round 1.

Are you crazy? Why would you want that? What would we get from having less than 20,000 at the G First round?

Nah...I WANT to play someone like the Sqawkers early :).. I like the idea of the pies twice.

Two good games to start the season. We wont be anyone's doormat anymore. There are quite a number of Demons with things to prove to the world...will be worth watchnig ;)

maybe Carlton 3rd game in ??;)

Would like a game where we have a good chance of winning (not a big chance, but a chance). Would be good for the team to kick of the year with a win. Maybe a team like Carlton or Essendon, but I doubt it. Either way, can't wait till round 1 regardless of who it is.

Am also a bit sick of playing Hawks early on, though appreciate their current pulling power. Carlton would be interesting. Good to hear the club is being pro-active, but yet to be convinced about the fixture given last year.

We deserve what we get after the last 3 years. Respect must be earn"t, which isn't a bad thing at all.

Darwin game on a Sat night in May against Port.

That Game is worth around $500K to us from what i have read, so i agree with it, as Melb v Port at the 'G has never been a crowd Puller.

Remember those mothers day Games.

For us at the Moment Darwin Games are good business.

Hawthorn R1 is a good matchup, considering Buddy is still suspended. That game would get a good crowd.

Throw in Chance Bateman (also susp.) and the departure of Mark Williams who always murders us.

Didn't say we didn't (deserve it), if that makes sense. Just remembering that it got worse after from the initial draft.

I can see the point of playing either west coast, freo or another interstate team round 1. It would be round 1 so we would get over 20,000 because people would come to see our new players play to see how they go, also we would be expected to win and winning round 1 would be great. It would be better than round 13 and we have only a few wins and then no one would come.

I stoked about the Darwin games 500k for the club + a win (maybe) but now I can go up to NT every year for a small break get on the [censored] go fishing and watch the footy life doesn't get much better.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
