Ghastly guernsey.

Has Collingwood intimidated Norf Melbourne into wearing that crud?

North Melbourne are on the way out, sadly they will have no voice in about 2-3 years. Brayshaw's white Knights did not come through. Tick Tick

North made a terrible mistake when it rejected the AFL's relocation offer to the Gold Coast. With such a low natural supporter base, the goodwill of many in taking out an extra membership to help out the Roos was never going to be sustainable for the many years necessary to get the club back on its feet.

Tick, tick indeed!

Yep, you got it. Could have been us in that situation near the end of Gardiners reign. We were an absolute Cot Case 12 months ago.

Fortunately the big jimma & co have turned it around, with still much work to do. I don't see the same future for north. They have managed to fly under the Radar so far this year, but i can't see that lasting too much longer.

What a digrace the AFL are. Well done Collingwood hope your proud.

I've just had about enough of this game from rules to politics. This game has gone to the [censored].

Anyone catch a glimpse of Nth Melbournes banner? $5000 fine maybe? I hate Collingwood.

Banner said something along the lines of....

"This is our night, Let's put up a fight, So in our home games, We can wear our Blue and White"

Not word for word, but that is what I remember..... Noticed it straight away on the telecast.....

Good on 'em...

wicked clash jumper...

why is the home team wearing a clash jumper tho?

AFL.

It also said something along the lines of "It's our Right"

So it should be. The North v Collingwood jumpers scenario is a joke. All the more resaon why Collingwood should have a clash guernsey - and they should wear it at away games. North have bent themselves over with the AFL standing over them. They should fight. The Afl should be tougher on Collingwood all the same.

Why did they wear that top then if they were "fighting to wear their home strip". I'm dead serious when i say that if teams like Collingwood aren't willing to move with the rest of the competition on this issue then they should be made to wear pink netball bibs and if they don't then they forfeit premiership points.

The home team should never have to wear an alternate strip.

Stupid Collingwood refuse to wear something other than the "Prison bars".

I think North Melbourne's home jumper would have done fine V Collingwood, especially since Collingwood have a black back and North have a white back.

It's a disgrace to have to wear a light blue alternate ship for a home game.

It was a problem for viewers on B/W telly when things got a bit muddy at Victoria Park or Arden St but under even artificial light on a pristine surface there is no problem.

My bet is that Collingwood are willing to pay the fine for not wearing a clash jumper, and they're calling North's blush. North can't pay it, so they wear the alternate strip. I don't think it's North giving into the Pies, but rather North being pushed into a corner with no other logical solution.

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
