I think Casey's forward line looks better than ours and why is Whelan in the reserves surely he deserves to go straight into the seniors. Someone should tell the Casey website that the black writing is very hard to read on the blue background.

I think you can email them and lodge a complaint.

Red text on the blue background would be the appropriate colours for clarity and appeal.

The opposition can be in white!

I'll pass it on.

Yes.

I also wonder what happened to Rowan Bail. The reports from Casey on him last week were very good and it's a pity he didn't have the opportunity to force his way into contention for higher selection before apparently joining the long injury list at the club.

not if he is playing just half a game
would love to see how straussy goes.
me too! hopefully he goes well in the grudge match this week

There seems ot be a bit of a clash with the team going to Adelaide there. Meesen, Dunn and Newton have all been named by Melbourne.

they're in the squad, not in the team... all 7 from the squad are named in the scorpions team, however only the three who miss out for melbourne will play for casey... standard every week...

cheney plays 2 games and they drop him, thats garbage, at least he runs strait at the ball, why not take the kid interstate and give him more experience, who replaces someone like dunn, i cant understand that.

Who says he got dropped? Just because he is named in the Scorpions side doesn't mean anything. How could Jetta and Cheney get dropped, yet none of Meesen, Dunn and Newton come in? Use some common sense.

the fact is that Lockyer towelled him up... if he's dropped it's not because of his ball winning ability, it's because he needs to be more accountable...

lockyer would beat any guy thats played 2 games, if he plays on watts in his second game he will be back at casey as well, what im saying is, a trip interstate against a vocal crowd will give him experience, now you tell me whos there that can replace him, that actually deserves it.

Oh please. Lockyer's a good player who's in good form. Cheney was playing his second match, coming off a good debut, and he got beaten. That's hardly reason to drop him for someone like Lynden Dunn, who hasn't shown more than Cheney even though he's had plenty more opportunities.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
