setshot-- Cam bruce lol.. joke. Robbo 100%

On the run-- Davey

ud would be surprised he is usually very good from 45m and tough angles

id go with

robbo- its wat he does, kicks goals alot of the time from the pockets

green- very good set shot

Yze - very good foot skills

davey no- he always runs around the mark too much when he is 40-50 out, i can see him kicking the goal and the umpire saying no goal u ran of ur mark.

Considering the siren has sounded, I hope it's not a shot on the run we're talking about ;)

edit: High Tower - I imagine RR realises, and just wanted to add his 2c on who he likes from that distance on the run.

Correct.

Edit: High Tower- If you see my set shots your question is answered. I extended the answer to think who would I want with the last scoring kick in a game. Hradly challenging but there you go.

Jeff White. He's a great kick from 40-55m from goal, and has won us the game to make the finals against the Dogs.

Ditto. BTW, the minutes after he kicked that goal were the most gut-wrenching of my life. Also, this is the kind of awesomely pointless topic I love. Keep, 'em coming!

Ben Holland

You may laugh, but when it really mattered, he'd kick it, and it would be beautiful to watch.

Robbo would get overexcited

Green would push it out to the right and just miss

Colin - your kidding aren't you?

Greeny for me.

His radar may not be as superb as when he was primarily a young forward, but I think he'd still come through on the big occassion.

Wonaeamirri has a very calm and thorough set shot style from what I've seen.

Surprise one would be Jeff White - totally unflappable and a decent kick at goal.

Except a good portion of the crowd (myself included) would die of heart failure between the time he lined up and put boot to ball... it would make for a rather dull post-win celebration :P

There's only one MFC player who instils greater fear in me when kicking for goal and that's Jamar.

while he looks awkward, he's deceptively efficient in front of goals dutchy... just when he does miss, he can make a real meal of it...

Siren has sounded. Trailing by 5 points. This is for the premiership. WHO would you select of the current players to take the kick - the kick that matters! As if your life depended on it! The man standing on the mark is 40 mtrs from goal.

Personally I would of selected the great man David Neitz. But he is retired now, so I would put it all on the line with......Colin Sylvia. But by geez I would be nervous.

What's your selection? Let's take a poll. Brad Green?

Definitely not Simon Eishold!!

#1 - Daniel Bell.

#2 - Robbo, for sure.

Surprised Jeff White hasn't been mentioned more, he's a great kick. One of the best kicks of any ruckman in the league. He'd be there or there-abouts when the pressure was on. Robbo, Belly, White, Brad Green IF it was 45° on the right, Wonnaemirri looks the goods but distance could be a problem...

(Bell was a joke :P)

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
