While fans of 15 other clubs are delighted about tonight's result, Magpie supporters are not happy judging by some of the talkback tonight. Blaming everything from the prez to the coach to the altitude training in Arizona.

Do we invite MM to apply for the vacant coaching gig or do we wait until Eddie calls the press conference?

Anyone actually think to blame Richmond ;) ?!!!

Foley has been on their club list since 2004 and this year he has finally hit his straps. By next year jones will be twice as good!

No he won't, Foley is an absolute freak. Could be AA this year, leads the league in clearances.

It's no laughing matter. Despite Collingwood's humiliation against Richmond last night, Malthouse seems to regard the melbournefc with contempt. Says he's going to rest Travis Cloke and possibly Dale Thomas - We need a midfield makeover: Malthouse. Bloke has a short memory. With Fraser and Swan appearing to be injured and Ben Johnson reported, we could derail their whole bloody season next week!

Here's an oldie but a goodie and it's been around in a number of forms but this one's appropriate for this morning -

Snow White has stayed at home to clean house and prepare lunch while the Seven Dwarfs have headed off to work at the mine. She takes their lunch down to them at the mine and upon getting there she sees there has been a cave in.

Snow White is quite concerned that they could all be buried under the rubble and even worse could all have died so she calls down the mine shaft,

"Are you all alright, is anyone hurt, are you all alive?"

She hears a reply. "The magpies will be premiers in 2007!"

With a big sigh of relief she says "at least Dopey's alive!"

As a matter of interest I just checked out the Demonland Tipping Competition and not a single person correctly tipped the Tigers (I'm assuming it's been updated because I have a big red x agauinst my selection of Collingwood).

Heh. If only they'd fallen to Carlton last week, the full woeful trifecta would have been complete - us, Carlton and Richmond.

I love it when Collingwood are the laughing stock of the AFL.

that makes us half a game from the bottom , and they have higher percentage

Percentage makes no difference when it's 1/2 a game. Unnless we happen to draw a game.

Ahhhh, just imagine we had a player who goes in and under the packs with an unnerving desire to win the clearance....

Nathan Jones !!!!!!!!!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
