Shall be attending today first game since 2023. Expect JVR to resume his former trajectory and fly right. (Best young player that night). My youngest granddaughter has announced herself as a Demon. Will be jigging after every goal. May there be many l need to keep warm! Go Dees!!!

Our depth is being sorely tested. Theres a gulf in class and experience so if we keep it within 30 points while showing heart and endeavour, I’ll be happy

Won’t lie though. I’m apprehensive about this one. If the Lions click, we could be looking at 10 goals+ loss

But hope springs eternal. If we have a proper dip you never know. We might catch the Lions on an off day.

Expecting a heavy loss, but excited to continue watching the young blokes and Reg’s first game! Also looking forward to to the jig and might go for a guiness pre game. We’ve got 12 players under 50 games today and 13 if we include JVR who is on 62 games total. It would be the most inexperienced side we’ve put out since probably pre 2020

Im very nervous on how much damage Cameron, Bailey and Rainer will do today with all our starting half backs out.

However, I think our team is more balanced than last week (support for Max, quicker with no Melk or TMAC).

Being the home team will work for us too, I think the young players benefit hearing the crowd involved and I don't think we travel well at all this year.

We just dont have the depth to cover injuries to quality players - Bowey, CJ, Rivers, Salem and possibly Fritter 😢😢😢😢😢

Today is one of those games you almost expect the Dees to come out and win. Bad loss away..They were [censored] last week after half time - against one of my most hated teams and it hurt... losts of cursing here.

We really need to fix the away problem but maybe its not being away, it's just not consistent yet... maybe pure coincidence.

Team selection mostly happy with considering who we cant have. Happy finally Max gets a chop out with... Max and that X gets a shot... just cant see why Laurie is back in. He is one of those players that do well at Casey but cant tansition to the main stage and have effect. Probably would have chosen Kentfield over Laurie.

Sad that Melky is out again and that his 250th was not with the same ending as Max and TMacs. Salem too will be missed.

I am in two minds today

Can’t make it to the game today. The whole family is gathering to celebrate my 75th birthday at a West Gippsland winery. I’ll be with you in spirit.

This game is the perfect time to engrain the game plan. Don’t be scared to make a mistake, keep attacking and playing on.

I’d love to see us have some periods where we challenge them hard. The kids have to show the way now, led by the king of the G, Kozzi
