NON-MFC: Round 06

Of course he wanted to stay but PF he just wasn’t a good fit for us anymore but unlike Trac ..I wish him well. We just need to support who is coming through & move on

Now... be careful here, he wanted to stay... who let who down??

Let it go FFS he was an offf field train wreck, I don’t know how many times you need to be told.

Great player at his peak, that like his time at MFC has passed move on or head over to GWS

Clarry a lazy 37 possesions in a losing side, not bad for a King Discard!

he is playing very well

If he behaved himself off-field he could have been the greatest Demon of all time. That’s on him. We gave him 2 years+ of patience to get himself right.

Clarry is the reason he is not at the MFC. King, coming in, had to get rid of all off field issues to start fresh

if you want explicit details then PM me

Spot on & unfortunately it takes a situation we’re GWS is he’s last chance, he should be embarrassed that he let down the club who gave him a massive contract and a flag

What a comedown for the Bulldogs. They were pitiful, and being monstered like that made for a tough watch. To their credit, the Dogs fans stayed ‘the end, and were generally good natured about it.

Watching the VFL Bulldogs beat Geelong was enjoyable though. 😁

Is that a euphemism?

No, he could reach past the middle of Glenferrie oval with a drop kick after a point.

Played well & looked fit

Dogs defence has been their weak point for the last few years.

It's even more suspect against a fast moving ball team and when their midfield is struggling.... you know the rest

Beveridge is getting close to wasting their best list but they have another few years so we'll see

it seems crazy to me that they've never been in the top four at the end of the home and away season

to make two grand finals, winning one, is super impressive, but it really does feel like they should have achieved more success

Clarry the champion possession getter, goaless against the Swans. Lots of other mids don't kick goals however I don't think he is a great loss (money wise yes).

Re: The BLUES, do I have to say it again ...... send nappy san to them as it prevents fade.

Early days, but Essendon's current first quarter showing against the Suns is making me feel a little less bad about last week.

Brilliant pressure so far.

And a few of those gun Suns not putting bodies on the line and looking for easy outs

it's fascinating that Tracca is having his highest goal average per game than before.

Early days but significantly higher.

Is he spending more time forward or has his committment increased,?

Guess he can only answer the real reason.

it begs the question he was not 100% committed to our club and had made his mind up to.lrave some time ago.

Not sure why the Kayo commentary is singing his praises as he's still slow to fire up and it's always been pretty much his second halves that have really impacted games.

This attribute seems to have snuck into his game around 2022/23.

Not the matk of a great player and I don't think he or Oliver now are significant losses in anyway.

Except last week when we got demolished through the middle.

But we have other players.

kozzie can't do it all himself and J.S. as well.

Need Viney back or the possibility of Bowser in the middle for a trial run.

He's fast, gets the ball quick and uses it fairly well.

Certainly worth a try.

I think Rivers while occasional successful as a mid time needs to stay in the backline so we can utilize his pace.

Suns v Dons

Suns are NOT letting Dons play the uncontested kick mark kick mark game.

Pressure footy creates turnovers.

Dees coaching was lazy last week to allow the Dons control the play and restrict our running game. Dees were witches hats last week

Dons have some good youngsters. Caddy Farrow and Roberts are future stars.

Can now be confirmed the umpires have officially boarded the Bombers band wagon.

Started last week

Dons twice the clearances.

They beat us in the same are last week too.

I'm conflicted. I don't want bummers to win but not keen to see Tracca succeed.

I know that's bad attitude but he left on bad terms for me.

Maybe the club did wrong too but it's left a bad taste.

Gold Coast - a team that is not the sum of its parts

Listening to the commentary....you'd swear the Dons are up by ten goals.

Settle down

Frees Dons....16.

Gcs........5

Expect Gold Coast to get two priority picks and an expanded Academy zone if they drop this game

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
