Are Maynard and Voss brothers? The similarities are quite uncanny.

Was thinking something very similar. Same [censored] haircut, same faux toughness, same ****less of bloke.

Both very punchable

Counting on our young on-ballers was always going to be a stretch. Steele has more disposals and marks than Windsor and Langford combined.

Brayshaw and co taking us apart.

They just look of the pace so far this year, definitely needs a lift, we are getting smashed around ball

We definitely made a mistake not having Moose in.

I reckon the XL pick over Murphy Reid is going to haunt us in years to come….

Great fight back in the second hopefully we can keep it going and make a real game of it in the last

Perhaps.

My view on Lindsay is that he is far more comfortable in the midfield. I thought he struggled last week in defence and really stood up as a mid.

Got back on top and within 20 points, but 2 [censored] late goals let them get away. Still a half to go.

Across the ground Freo wasn’t running as much as the first.

If I was playing I would’ve just got a 10 week suspension for punching Voss out…. Must be so hard to hold back

Of course it will, but try being a Richmond fan and having FOUR chances to pick him and still not doing it. There’s about 4-5 other clubs that overlooked him not just us

Sparrow on target for his average of ten touches with five already.

He's an excitement machine running through the middle and kicking goals.

Surely we have more depth.

Lindsay's not great in tight congestion situations. He's another year at Casey away imv.

As soon as Moniz is at the level fitness and form wise i'm swapping these two immediately.

The attempted sneak HB from Rooh to Koz....and the Petty panic one towards the end of that Q were both super costly 👎🏻

Once they had 4 to 5 on the board we needed to switch into lock down man v man mode in the 1st and didnt (couldn't?).

If the coach won't call that switch up then Max def should even if it means overriding the general game style / method (trained) instructions. This is the diff between just playing like robots (even when getting smashed) and playing to win.

There's too distance between Chin's worst and his best. Either bridge the gap pronto or back to Casey son. Unfortunately not much to come in from there so he probably stays.

We are down one or two quality rotations in the middle. Vines on the other side of the mountain but still missed in the clinches when a lock down wrestle is needed like we saw in the 1st Q when they got off the leash.

Far too many HBs at player's feet tonight and so many fumbles / not enough once touch players.

6 fumbles to nil in first 3 minutes says it all.

We don’t know how to tackle.

Ugh the fumbles are back

That one super costly. [censored].

I'm sorry but there are some really lazy players making weak hanballs and killing us.

dreadful handball from steele to rivers

skills just not good enough

Not really the start to the half we wanted, both on the scoreboard and skills wise.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
