I hope king goes up to brody & tells him, just go & back yourself & kick the goal

And tell Fritta not to demand a pass while on the boundary

Tholstrup misses a regulation set shot while the guy we should have drafted (Wilson) bags one from the boundary

Lots of excitement which is good for the young fans. This style is not sustainable though without better defensive application from every player on the ground.

This is not Geelong where there's been a baseline expectation of competitiveness for a long period. If our scoring dries up for a while, will we find a way to hold firm?

I’ve only found one stat, but early parts of last year we were averaging 7.65 marks inside 50 per game, we’ve had 9 in a half so far in this game.

Big fat tick so far right there.

We're young and raw.
But we're gonna be alright.

Wowee have the saints overpaid for this. Lot of $$ for a team that looks 7th-10th

They imported half their squad, will need a bit of time to click. Hopefully they do when it’s too late. The sooner Ross goes, they’ll be all the better for it.

I think CJ has had some great plays throughout the game both defensively and offensively. Ball use as been better also

Didn’t track it last year as we basically gave up on marking it in the forward line or kicking it to a forward but prior to that we pretty much never lost with 13+ marks i50.

May not be as iron clad now that we don’t have the Lever/May show at the other end but good signs

Rooh a great half

Culley came on and gave us something around the ball and another target up forward

Harvey

Cuz looking good

Salem

Maxy much better 2nd Q

Petty

Kozzy busy but its all through the middle and we lack a small classy cumbersome up forward. Can't be in teo places of course.

Mihocek .... hot & cold

Rivers busy but tends to kick blindly too often for mine. Lacks vision coming inside and a little finnesse

Disco a diff role and quite solid defensively but also lacks a bit of vision & finnesse.

Fritsch looks pretty good but too many shots from outside his range imv. Needs to find some targets more often.

Howes NB

Jeffo jogging around like he's playing high school footy. Zero intensity so far.

Windsor busy but blazing away a little too often. Would love to see him hit up the odd short target coming inside.

Lindsay decent with ball in hand. A raw youngster and needs plenty of time but defensively and AFL body wise he's still a few pre-seasons and plenty of time at Casey away imv.

Lever's getting to some good spots but decision making and execution aren't great. So many up and unders also.

Who's playing on Hill? He's one of their two major play makers and just running around out the back like its a Captain's run.

I can't recall more than a few possessions/ involvements from Chandler other than the kick into space for Mhocek but i often miss some of his work around the ball defensively so might be wrong here.

The Kolt. At times he shows signs that he's at the level and in the breath he looks panicked and a fair way off AFL pace.

Chandler 2 goal turnaround NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
