Anddd can the real Oliver , please stand up, please stand up ..

It’s a bitter sweetness to see him play like this.

GWS midfield getting absolutely polacksed

Yes because their rucks are getting slaughtered

Congratulations to the AFL on finally developing the product into something that is just non-stop end to end scoring.

Fantastic for the advertisers.

I thought I'd like this style more than I do.

As others have said, it's a lot like basketball in some ways.

Geez I hope Freo don't blow this

As the great sage Flavor Flav said, don't believe the hype.

Scoring will drop soon enough as fatigue starts being more of a factor .

Teams are in their optimal shape atm (which would terrify Blues and bombers fans as both teams look miles off fitness wise) and can manage the huge amount of running the current style demands. As their fitness tails off, and coaches baulk at giving up huge scores, teams will slow the game down more often, fie exampleby the chip mark, and then go fast, method the lions use, and the Hawks and Pies both seem to be copying.

Freo better not choke this opportunity.

Choke well and truly underway. Their run and carry has disappeared, and the Cats beating them in contested possession.

Pathetically soft effort from mcvee.

Enjoying those midfield minutes at freo champ??

I could just sense it in the 2nd Quarter…

Let’s see what they are really made of

I consulted Professor AI for this:-

“Fremantle's Isaiah Dudley is actually cousins with Melbourne's Kysaiah Pickett! They're also related to the legendary Eddie Betts, with Dudley being his nephew. Dudley, a small forward, made his AFL debut in 2025 and has been impressing with his skills on the field. He's also been getting some great advice from his godfather, former Hawthorn player Harry Miller.”

Couldn't recall Warner but I found the young journeyman Corey Wagner.

Great to see that he and Oscar McDonald have got another chance. Good luck to them.

Yes sorry meant Wagner.

Oliver is no longer an elite mid at this stage. It is a lose lose for GWS and the Dees. Perhaps he thinks he doesn't need to be elite anymore, he get a beaut pay packet from two clubs. If this is the case it is a pity. I wish him all the best except when GWS v DEES.

Oliver had a typical game for the last few years. He'll hav good games but he desert seem to have the drive anymore to really push himself. Given green gone for the year he has some job security.

With a game hardened advantage and the umpires in their pockets Cats in front.

Cmon Freo you good enough to win this.

Well there goes all my multis

Cmon Freo, stand up!!

Serong can’t do everything

Can someone remind me what happened to the pick 23 we got for McVee?

Packaged up among other picks + Petracca in return for picks 7, 8 (became 11 & 12), 28 (Tom Matthews) and the Suns' 2026 first round pick

Freo are still Freo, but having a game advantage makes Round 1 a joke. It’s a huge advantage.

8 Goals to 3 in the 1st Quarter, a decent team should not lose from there.

Freo have a great side on paper but they are mentally fragile
