Must be a slow news day for the AFL .....

This feels 6 months too early…

For a guy who’s always coming in runner up, I reckon you would be silly to give away more than a second round pick

This is my audition tape for Trade Radio

nothing I wrote above is wrong. Look he is a great runner and linkage player, but he is also greedy, cant kick, doesnt get a hardball and cant mark. Give me Rowell, Bont or 10 other midfilers before him anytime

We’ll agree to disagree

People will not take this seriously, but the Pies are in for a very rude awakening with their age profile. They are trying to do a Geelong but have landed very poor picks in Shultz and Houston for their 1st round picks. There midfield once Zoe does and Sidebottom retire is really in trouble. De Goey can’t get going and their young talent is not good enough.

Then are going to bottom out right when Tassie come to the forefront and hence will almost have to trade Daicos to get in some picks to rebuild.

No, we will keep our 4th.

They can have Troy Chaplin.

Ah poor precious Nick and his father.

I really hope they’ll be ok after such a tough year.

Let’s chip in for a gift basket for all they’ve gone through .

In other words an apology to Nick to calm down dad Peter.

Wonder how Darcy Cameron feels about all this then.

Multiple captains, club champions and a 2-time recent Coleman medallist on the move and everything is up in the air;

The media [censored] circus;

"We need more content!

ChatGpt please create a rumour that connects the highest clickbait name with the most possible readers without actually saying anything."

...

"Nick Daicos is of interest to multiple unnamed clubs."

I think I would be looking at the system too if I were Collingwood after this year's result.

We should have done the same after Viney beat Max Gawn last year.

Regardless of the fact Nick’s not moving, this little Daicos dummy spit is highly amusing and speaks to the way the family are thinking.

It’s inching towards a bigger blow up and I am here for it

I find it even funnier that the media believe his kicks are the best in the AFL (Give me a break - 48 disposal efficiency)

Ok, we get the fact that you don’t like the guy, but it’s not a good look to invent poor statistics in an attempt to justify your comments. Correct me if I’m wrong (and sincere apologies if that is the case) but I’m assuming that you meant 48% disposal efficiency, in which case you are way out… it is in fact:

  • 2022: 72.0% disposal efficiency

  • 2023: 75.1% disposal efficiency

  • 2024: Around 61.4%

  • 2025: 70.4% effective disposals

You are right on 1 point. I don't like him at all. As for the stats I get them from an AI chat. If you are correct with these numbers, then I stand corrected

Is his new nickname the bridesmaid?

  • CASEY: Richmond

    The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
    Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

    It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
