It was a great interview and he does come across as an incredibly humble and lovely guy… but, if he left out all of those ums, it would gone for just five minutes.

Max & Trac both polled in 10 games (Kozzie 4)

Being in the best 3 on the ground 10 games out of 23 is a fair effort

Has been wearing Asics since he was 10yo and thanks them in his Brownlow speech…

Blessssssss 🥹

Brilliant. Very happy.

The way he really loves the people around him is awesome. He has so much respect for them all and means it 100%.

Great result.

Why congratulate NDaicos? He is just one of hundreds that didn't win it.

Interesting power dynamic that that comment was made by Goyder the AFL chairman

What I dont understand is everyone realises there is a crazy bias towards mids. It was obvious last year when one player had twice as many votes as every other except one. But yet they again sit down and give 3 votes to mids for 16 touches. I'm almost certain this is being rigged for betting purposes.

Clarry, pretty reasonable season for ZERO votes, twice coaches MVP of the year... massive and UNFAIR fall

Collingwood didn’t make the granny.

Naicos didn’t win the Brownlow.

This year has ended up not too shabby after all.

Gee Oliver 0 votes.

Poor matty, everyone's talking about NAS got getting the 3.

Anyway not only do I not have to read about the pies in a gf but I don't have to read about daicos winning the brownlow. Good times

I can’t believe Hamish mentioned it in his summary of the leaderboard. He said NAS on 23, many people think it should be 24. Real professional, Hamish. You [censored].

  • AFLW REPORT: West Coast

Melbourne’s response to last week’s heartbreak was emphatic, as the Demons delivered a statement win over West Coast at a windswept Casey Fields. All of the pre-match hype surrounded the coach’s box matchup of Mick Stinear up against his apprentice, Daisy Pearce along with the gloomy weather forecast. In the end, it was less about tactical chess and more about Melbourne’s relentless execution. With rain looming, the DeeArmy and early birds snapped up the best undercover viewing spots.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.
