Chin up, boys. Great effort. Something to build upon for the future.

Anyone think Windsor has Butters-like potential? Didn’t play the greatest game today but I’ve seen many flashes

His disposal is an issue. I’m a big fan but he must improve this aspect of his game

That last center bounce sums up my frustration.

Best ruck in a generation, supposedly

But he hits it to space and no Melbourne player in sight.

Be nice to know how so many times max gets hit out, but goes to opposition ???

One of the best games of the season, a lot to like, but we can’t be happy either. Would love an analysis on our close games from 2024-2025, I feel like we never win them. Never.

I really enjoyed Fritsch, Melksham, Langford and others kicking snags and reviving the crowd up, was really fun to this game without too much pressure on the result.

We had a crack. We tried some things that helps us look different. I liked the midfield mix early, and Bowey forward in the last.

If I was a Dogs fan I’d be concerned. They need to kick 120 points to guarantee a win. No disrespect to our forward line but putting almost 100 points on them says more about how they defend than anything about us.

COME ON GWS/FREMANTLE!

At the ground, carrying on from dogs fans is embarrassing. Smug, arrogant and all round unbearable.

Very agricultural from bulldogs fans today, wouldn’t be so arrogant considering they are perennial down hill skiers who only beat up on teams below them.

Looks like they played their grand final today. They’re pretty rubbish so won’t expect them to even make the 8 let alone contend.

If we can get better disposers onto the list we’re a chance

This. And has been this for the last few seasons.

Don't care about dogs supporters

i hope we can beat the hawks and pies in our last 2 games

i really dislike those 2 teams

Agree, love Windsor, but his kicking today was below par. He’ll get there.

Typical MFC style of loss, grab a lead and then roll over in the last qtr newcoach wil need to work out the metal toughness issues !

Langford and Culley are 2 monsters that can mark anything and play forward

Exciting for the future

These tight games are invaluable for our young guys

Hamstring or cramp late ??

I'm convinced that if we played Culley over an underdone Tholstrup earlier in the year we finish with 2-3 more wins.

Neutrals probably enjoyed it as an exciting game. Me? I hate valiant narrow losses.

Looks like he was trying to hit it to Viney. Terrible idea to be honest.

Not fit enough to run out games

Nothing to do with fitness.

2025 has been the year of dishonourable losses

6 losses by 13 points or under now

Not fit enough to run out games

In 2022 and 2023, we also lost a lot of close games. Wonder what the overall stats would be, an area for growth for us.

We kicked 4.0 in that last qtr, which is great considering most games we only managed anywhere from 0-2 goals, didn’t fade out as I feared we were going too.

Thought we brought the pressure as the game went on.

We may not turnover the ball more or less than other teams, but I feel like when we do, it’s a BAD turnover. Turnovers that cost us when we have momentum and gift them goals.

For starters they play different positions, but they've been building Culley as a wing over the last 10 weeks or so, he's only come on enough recently.

The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
