GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs West Coast

Just cut my eyes out. That was horrid and Uninspiring. The Eagles are so bad it's mesmerising and somehow we actually look like a bottom 4 side.

I expected us to come out breathing fire. Instead we came out breathing Jim Beam.

Distinct lack of care in this game IMO.

Just pathetic game … Errors

missing goals … Behinds

No one wants to kick a goal

Good defence

USE THE FARRRKKKN CORRIDOR - why wide wide wide Farrrrrk n stupid !!!

I've never seen another team hug the boundary so much for so many years.

Weirdos

My only guess is that shutting the top level saves money. But also I reckon it's better for the atmosphere anyway if we are all bundled together if the crowd is small. Reminds me of when we'd play random home games at Optus Oval and all be grouped together behind the goals.

My guess is that it looks like a better crowd on TV when every-ones at ground level.

3 goals 5 you have to be kidding. They could not kick themselves out of a wet paper bag!

I'm watching today to see signs of our new gameplan. What is our ball movement like, what is our forward structure like, are we looking to use the corridor etc

Not seeing much different from our previous gameplan to be honest.

High quality game, hard to believe either of these teams won’t play finals.

If there was a ladder for “Dumb [censored] 50m penalties that have led to goals” we’d surely be streets ahead of any other team this year.

Probably 12-15k

Currently enjoying sitting in front of two blokes who think 1970s strategies applies to modern footy. Getting some great insights like

kick the skin off it

Man up!

Take your wallet out of your pocket Pickett and contest the footy

Petty is only getting a game because he’s dating one of Goody’s daughters

players didn’t have their weetbix this morning x3 (when you’ve got good material stick with it)

What happened to the days when Ed Langdon used to roam the wing and rack up heaps of possessions? He looks like he’s just running around in circles with bugger-all impact.

Goodwin won't change.

Even last week he would've gone to the board and told 'em the gameplan is fine as it led to a 46pt 3/4 lead.

Honestly, are these blokes just stupid?

How many dumb 50s last few weeks

Wtf was Salem doing? doesn't know the rules. Idiotic

Let's go Windsor at the bounce

Fritsch does such good things but then some horrible errors

this.

I am almost tempted to leave unless they switch it on soon. This is such a typical "keeping them in it" Game from us.

If we lose McVee we lose a real player. he’s calm and collected for a young bloke

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
