I left the game at half time!

G'day fellow Demons Supporters!

I'm absolutely furious!

The game was that bad that I had to leave at half time!

I felt really sad about it cause its the first time I had ever done that.

My brothers were also fed up and wanted to leave.

I have no idea how the Demons can play so disgracefully after really playing well the last two weeks.

Neale Daniher's sacking is inevitable now.....

The question mark over 'Go Demons 2008' is imperative. Kids walk away from clubs thanks to displays like that.

There goes membership and sponsorship dollars - as well as merchandise and club function support.

I doubt I'll attend next week - I'm not going to the effort of reserving a seat.

I have no interest in this club for the moment - at the very least.

yep need keep going and trying to give the boys a lift

was terrible and we are all filthy but need to support the team when they are down, this is the main difference between supporters and barrackers, we pay money to see our club week in week out, even if we are bottom of the ladder.

stick hard melb supporters

yep what a waste of time - left 20 min mark of the last and wish id bailed sooner. Not a fan of the early departure, but the insipid crap that they dished up warranted it.

how the hell were we not aware that richmond would come out firing? Brown back, winless, hungry, geez. What a debacle.

Will be there next week, but sometimes i really get the impression that we care more than they do. How many players will really hurt from that peformance? THey should have their pay docked.

Any why on earth did danniher play flippin' yze? It's not rocket science - lose key forward, replace with someone equally able bodied, not someone struggling with fitness, a gammi groin and a foot shorter. Sorry if this has already been said in another post, ive just signed on and this is my first port of call.

I'm all for that, but we lost to the BOTTOM, WINLESS team. Not lost, we were smashed, Down by 64 points at half time. We weren't going to win at that stage. I have not beef with any Melb supporter that chose to leave. The players did not hold up there end of the bargain.

I dont want to hear excuses tonight. We are a terrible football team at the moment. Leaves me thinking we overachieved last year. I'd even take the devils advocate role and suggest that Daniher is not the problem. The list obviously needs reviewing too.

I'm absolutley lost for words.

I walk out of movies half way if I'm not enjoying them...

I go to the football for entertainment. They were failing to entertain me, and I couldn't see it getting much better.

No excuse for that performance MFC, cannot blame injuries, cannot blame game plans, had a good team on the field, just a plain woeful effort. Typcial MFC culture, win a game or two and think that it will keep coming easy. Shocking, no wonder membership is so low

Im not one to leave early, needed to [censored] at 10 mins in to the last and copped a barrage on the way to the toilets, then copped a barrage on the way back to my seat, last time i sit in the middle of the Tiger army, they are a bunch of ferals.

 I had my legs firmly crossed for most of the last. Shouldn't have had that 3/4 time pick me up. True though getting dissed by supporters who's team has won half a game out of 11 is a [censored]?

You are obviously not a leader! The captain doesn't leave the sinking ship. I watched it all and kept up my barracking. That's the role of a REAL SUPPORTER. We played so badly in the first half but you don't give it up even though it hurts.

i was watching it on telly and could have switched it on another channel but nar thought id watch my dees battle till the end.. not did they put up much of a fight

I stayed....and took my medicine. However I can sure understand those that left.

I thought i could even stomach this season if we put together a few wins, after C'wood I thought we were on our way.

Now where the f@ck are we?

I go to every game and and have been a member for 8 straight years, but i too left at half time. I understand we are playing for nothing, but i do not have to tolerate such an insipid effort from the coaches and players. We are a disgraceful club and im reaching breaking point.

That performance can only be described as a disgrace and it highlighted the problems we have at the club.

All we supporters want in a season like this is a solid effort and positive signs for the future and we got the complete opposite.

When are we going to see action taken!?????

I don't really care what other people think.

Besides, I was more than happy to stay for the whole match. It was my brothers that wanted to leave!

If anything, I think the Demon players should be ones taking a good hard look at themselves. Paid up members like myself should not have to put up with such gutless performances time and time again.

Why should I accept mediocrity???

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final.
