No no no that was 100% after the siren

Very happy if fritsch wants out. Thanks for the flag

That is not a goal. Cheating

THE SIREN HAD GONE, ARE U FCCKKKIINNGG JOKING MEEEEEEE

Can we say Trac is not the same since his knock? He is not even a shadow of his former self.

Bayley Fritsch should never ever get another game, he is still drinking his own bathwater from 21

He was still great in 2022 and 2023. Not sure what happened last year. Though many things happened last year... Oliver, Trac, etc.

Surely that can be score reviewed? Are you [censored] kidding me.

We are An uninspiring team, there has been no hunger, no intensity. They’ve looked flat all day.

Melksham being Melksham. Has been missed.

(Not that it'll make all that much difference when there are so many problems elsewhere.)

We have a lot of list management decisions to make this year, cash in where we can.

This is pitiful.

Sitting above that one he seemed to kick it as the siren sounded unfortunately.

🙌lucky. Sharp goal

🤢umps Billings grabbed without footy

🤢may 20m away from king

👏👏Melksham to Trac

👏👏Sharp

️Rowell

👏👏Chandler goal

🤮🤮Viney disposal

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮Fritsch drop mark 15 metre out !!! Unmanned then fumbles and falls over

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮umps suns goal

Definitely crossed the goalline after the hooter went. What is the rule. He had kicked before i reckon

Dead set cheating from the umps there. Siren clearly sounded before that kick. Free goal to the AFL'S pet project team.

Clearly after the siren. Surely they review that at 3/4 time and remove the score.

Nope umpire needs to signal before qtr is over. We really are taking the [censored] with the way we manage to give up goals in red time

We will give 186 a shake next week in Geelong

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
