Ah yes, my mistake.

I'd delete my post, but not possible on Demonland. Will have to settle for being publicly shamed for my ignorance.

Why not just edit it and delete the offending text?

Sore pair under injury clouds, Goodwin insists winless Dees are 'united'

Well, that settles it. At least two outs for Saturday’s game.

Hopefully more than two Chelly.

Because it messes up the feed as it has already been quoted.

I like it when a post is reduced to a dot (.) and then someone comes in with 'Good Point'

As you can’t delete posts on DL anymore, I was thinking of going completely radical and editing posts to just leave a -

Yes, and I'm sure most of us have gone to a lot of trouble (with a bit of rant) and then have the index finger hovering over the 'Submit Reply'

Will I, will I?

And then wipe it/delete!!!

I've written some beauty's and then thought better of it, Redleg

But every now and then I can't help myself haha

Did I miss miss something?

Last week, Tom Campbell didn’t play after he was on the injury list waiting on a test for his hamstring injury. Is he available this week?

Yes Selwyn said they held him back last week because of the shorter turn around this week, if that makes any sense. I’m assuming he is fit to play.😁

McVee and Jeffo available - but no VFL games.

Tholstrup not listed, so presume he's available as well.

Edit: My mistake, there are VFL games for Casey. Thanks to Distraction Jackson for calling me out.

Marty hore can't take a trick - retun set back with calf tightness.

Gee wiz, having a look through other teams lists it seems a standard hammie ping these days is 8-10 weeks.

There will be quite a few moved on at seasons end I think, will be the biggest list re-set we've had in a while.

Hore, Melksham, McDonald, Billings, Verrall, Woewodin & Fullarton I think should all be either retired/delisted at a minimum.

We then need to be ultra aggressive on the trade/free agency table to replenish our list.

Have heard us linked to Oscar Allen and Kane Farrell, that would be a great start but we are going to need a lot more!

Mcdonald! He is playing some of the best football in his career you have to be joking. Milkshake is filling his role well we simply have no replacement at present.

I was surprised just how long it took McVee to get back to playing after doing his. I thought it was a 3-4 week injury.

I did send this in March... agree at this stage he has earned another year

seems to be more then norm for a tear to be 6-12 weeks these days

some still get the 3-4 week ones, then there's the one where they talk about surgery to re-attach the tendon to the bone - which truly sounds horrific - which can be up to 16 weeks

it's not a one-size-fits-all which i guess shows the improved treatment methods and more individualised approach to injury management

Injury List: Round 10

Jack Billings — calf / available

Jake Lever  — ankle / available

Jake Melksham — soreness / available

Ricky Mentha  — concussion / Test

Harrison Petty  — concussion / Test

Taj Woewodin — ankle / Test

Jack Viney  — concussion / 1 - 2 weeks

Marty Hore — calf / 3 - 4 weeks

Shane McAdam — Achilles / next season

Andy Moniz-Wakefield — knee / next season

Marty Hore listed as 5 - 7 weeks on 1 April. More than six weeks later he is listed as 3 - 4 weeks.

It is such bad list management to keep fringe players who are never available to play.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
