4 blokes with 1200 games on fox footy panel say Moore caused it by dropping at last second and Kozzie shouldn’t get suspended..

We have Christian who said Maynard did nothing wrong.

Its the AFL.

I expect Kozzie to get a life ban and maybe more.

No doubt Christian will threaten to resign is Kozzie isn't suspended

Reality. Moore dropped his legs so his fake concussion was his fault.

AFL reality. He will get 6 weeks because he is Pickett and a Melbourne player.

Impressive in fast time. I just think Kozi is the best I’ve seen. Ablett Jr was, but [censored], I have never in my 40 years seen anything like Kozi Pickett.

I don't think he will be suspended. May go to tribunal but Darcy Moore fell. Would have been a fair bump if Moore had kept his feet.

I’m 100% convinced Moore did not suffer concussion. Collingwood are an unethical organisation, wouldn’t put it past them

Very good point so do we call the Collingwood dr to swear on oath , and provide evidence, that it was concussion? And if they were found to be  telling mistruths…..?

All those saying Moore caused it by sliding are right but it won't change the outcome. The AFL will say "if you elect to bump you wear the consequences".

It's absolute garbage because if the roles were reversed you know what the result would be but because it is Melbourne and even more so because it is Pickett he will get weeks.

The umpiring tonight was farcical, this would be the cherry on top. AFL are a corrupt organisation run and officiated by inbred maggots. Sick of the lot of them.

Actually having just seen it on fox footy I didn't realise he put the elbow out.

So he'll go because once again because he chose to hit him high. He didn't need to stick the elbow out & collect his head.

Once again he lets us down for r1

Can we use Maynard's lawyer to challenge if he gets rubbed out?

Hoped in the car & was listening to the SEN commentary team speak on this. Had me thinking Kozzy had really made a mess of More with a serious hit - 3 weeks at least seemed to be the teams conclusion.

Watched it back & was like “ohh… was that it?”🤔😂

Could honestly be anything from 0 to 3 weeks because of course, it’s Kozzy smh.

Opponent subbed off, presumably as a result of said contact.

Opponent smiling the whole time

on the bench, hardly concussed compared to Brayshaw who was far from that 🤦🏻‍♂️

Probably will miss Round 0.

All our players will.  Round 0, if it is as 2024, was for the finalists to match up.

This should be a nothing incident.

Moore was falling and Kozzy was trying to kick the ball. Unfortunate set of circumstances move on.

Zero weeks.

Is this a joke?

It’s illegal to slide in.

Free kick to Kozzi

It was a footy act.  Kozzie didn't line him up, Moore fell / slid and should have been pinged for sliding under Koz's legs

Careful Gonzo.   "Allegedly", or "could be considered by some as "  corrupt.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
