I feel like we were all made fools of. Why did we assume Carlton missed when they lost? They were more in than we could ever imagine due to Freo's stickiness.

Carlton will beat Brisbane ( if they get some guns back)

Fremantle would've won if we were the ones in Carlton's position.

in a team of ball butchers, Jordan Clark is the worst of the lot

You had one job, freo…

Port didn’t even need to win this (just not lose by much) 🤣

Blues in the finals, gross. Hope they get smashed by the lions.

Like seriously, Hawks are in finals.
Blues are 2-6 from their last  8.

Cats somehow have a double chance. Dogga is enjoying his millions without doing any overtime so far.

This could still be a great outcome

We get pick 5

Jackson again plays no finals

Carlton get creamed by Brisbane

Jackson... go cry into an errant niple u TRAITOR

Three of the nine finals in Melbourne? Dogs v Hawks; Cats v Dogs/Hawks; Granny.

Not that my predictions are to be relied on!

Freos I50 delivery is putrid

A very familiar feeling for all of us here 😢

Watching freo in the last was alot like watching us.
Poor skills with no composure.

One upside about Freo losing. We all get a chance to see Carlton lose again in a fortnight.

Good point

Port pick up Soldo and Sweet. Two second string ruckman who could not get a game at their former clubs but know how to compete and use their size and strength. We bring in Schache and Fullerton, two lightweight softy’s who don’t know how or compete and can’t even get a game when Gawn is injured. How [censored] is that?

Freo we’re 12-7 and looking top 4

Remarkable choke.

Exactly. Blues kick in the guts twice in 2 weeks  and we can say "out in straight sets"

Nice to know Jackson has mum nearby if he needs a cry

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
