So much talk about club culture ...

Well, here's Culture Club!

Culture Club Were So Wimpy ...Where to buy Culture Club tickets this ...

Isn't it odd that no one talks about Hawthorn's club culture anymore... even though that nasty issue beginning with R hasn't been resolved fully. Oh yeah, that's right, they're in the finals and are currently everyone's (read AFL & Media) darling!

Honestly, with this latest article and the Pickett story, Pert needs to a call an all of club meeting and tell everyone to stop talking to the press. This leaking of information is just ridiculous.

Agreed. But how will we know it's occurred if the leaking stops?

Since the smut and innuendo has been removed from Demonland Brand Biffen has taken a serious hit but I never complained about it. Ijust got on with the job of being my usual obnoxious self and found different way to insult and demean inferior opinions for the good of the site. I hope you all appreciate my sacrifice.

Moved into the ‘Full ( and immediate) Review’ camp.

The board has overseen all of this without significant response.

Let’s act like adults and get ahead of the situation and address it.

Christian has brought it to a head for sure but an independent review can give us the real picture maybe.

Media blackout - see if any players left at the club in a week.

So Christian was at Wacky Wednesday with all the players from start to stumps.  Gee, there must be some really fractured relationships there.Barring any unforeseen injuries Trac will play round one in the red and blue in 2025 and be amongst the votes. Bank on it!

I don't think anything new is being said, just some food for thought from a very good afl writer in Jonathan Horn that probably has no vested interest.

I agree with everything in that article.

I don't think much of Petracca in all this, but the players who blabbed to a journalist about the private meeting are absolute clowns. The place is burning down and three of them are happy stoking the fire by giving tips to the media. Everyone seems to be in this for themselves, which explains a bit...

FWIW, Petracca apparently made an appearance at Cody Weightman's art gallery opening in Fitzroy tonight doing some cooking demonstrations.

Hope he was making humble pie. But I doubt it

It’s like someone or a group of someone’s want this club to go down.

Why?

So they can get out , or they want someone out.

Why does our playing group leak like a sieve? It's a very poor look for all concerned that details of private meetings make there way into the press like this.

While I agree, I also imagine that like all of us they are hurting with what is playing out in the media.  They probably feel like what is reported is not accurate and so it's their way of flying the flag... which actually just adds to the noise and probably does the opposite of what they intended.  They are human too.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story

Mitch Cleary did not report that Kossie has asked for a trade to SA. He reported that there is homesickness and both the club and his management are confident it can be resolved.

The most shocking thing about this is that Sparrow gets included in these meetings!

That's a bit harsh.  We haven't seen the best of Sparrow this year.  But when he speaks he sounds like he's more switched on than most players.  He's also one of the few that apparently can go with / tackle petracca at training.
