You posed the same silly question in the pregame thread and nobody bothered replying. Same thing will likely happen in this thread too, unless of course there’s someone who considers it a valid question. Pfft surely no one on here would, though.

Oops, spoke too soon…

Was at the MCG tonight, Blues kicking off with 8 behinds in the 1st quarter, playing disjointed, safe, no risk football until 32 points down in the 4th quarter and then going hell for leather in a powerful burst but McGovern botching the after siren set shot. He really should have gone off after that head knock and the kick given to someone else ...

The Blues have botched a golden opportunity over the last month sitting in 2nd spot and now have to fight tooth and nail for the last 3 games just to make the 8.

Carlton got what we deserved tonight, you can't play 10 minutes of football in the 4th quarter and expect to win games.

Still, it could be worse, I could follow the Swans 😁 They seem to be imploding in a big way. In this crazy season maybe the Blues continue that 4th quarter form and go on a run into September. My expecations are low but you never know ...

Top of the head Sunday morning rant.

Would not mind if Freo won it.

I'd also cop GWS. Love Tobes and Jesse.

Pies and Blues always repugnant.

Port are undeserving as is their coach.

Brisbane would be almost acceptable.

Had a gutful of the Cats and they're probably not good enough.

Dogs are a chance but not sure they can maintain this form which needs a 2016 repeat.

Calling it: Bulldogs v Dockers GF.

Which would be ironic given the number if doggies fans calling for bevo's head just 5 weeks ago.

Just watched the final 2 minutes from last night. McGovern has kicked a goal after the siren before so he knew what to do.

But he completely botched it. I wondered if players went to him just to calm him & they did.  Cripps was obviously confident in him because he pumped the fists.

But with the head knock because it all happened so quickly, it will be interesting how he is during the week

It really is time for teams to get multiple alternate strips or away strips like soccer. Last night was a joke and now Giants and Hawks are hard to distinguish in the sun.

Pendlebury’s son should’ve kicked it way harder. This is the POS who’s on track to break Jimmy’s consecutive games record.

Is it Retro Round or Clash Strip Round? Seriously! Firstly our game, then last night and now this.  Virtually impossible to differentiate.  AFL just about the only sporting organisation in the world that would allow this to happen. Unfathomable.

GWS’ accuracy was the only thing keeping them going the last month, and helped them against us last week.

2.9 today. Of course it’s against Hawthorn that they finally have an accuracy stinker.

Hawks win this, they make finals. Brace yourselves, everyone. It’s happening.

Seriously it is so depressing seeing Haw winning again

The arrogance will soon be upon us

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
