Maxy first hands but mark paid to Jesse

Think Tmac got blocked off the ball so Hogan had a free run.

Credit to Gws.

They have got numbers back into our fwd line all night and rarely have we had space there.

That quarter was lost off our own clangers.

Handballs to non existent players.

Ball spent before control.

Hospital handballs.

Manic decisions to play on when not appropriate.

I thought this was our best fwd line fielded tonight.

Jvr hasn't fired. Fritta Ditto. Kozzie no goals. Bring on Turner.

Wake up Goody. It's not working mate. What are you doing?

GWS look a class above. Clean, great ball handling, moving it quickly and hitting targets.

They're moving the ball fast and too the outside

If we can't combat that we will lose

A lot of players have gone missing particularly our fwd line

Billing’s and Laurie shouldn’t be picked, they’re not AFL standard, we cannot continue to carry players like these two.

We should win. GWS started too late. They’ll drop off this quarter. They needed to capitalize better that quarter. We really should be able to simply stream roll them in the last. Briggs also injured won’t help.

Well you’ve convinced me!

It’s up to us. GWS have stepped it up since Q1 and we haven’t had an answer. Their skills have been much better and have maintained intensity.

We will need to be much better, for the whole quarter to win this.

As has been the case all year with this team, we certainly can, but will we? Which team will turn up in the last?

Let’s go boys, win this and we’re back in the 8 to launch at the final 4 games.

Their ball movement is better but we're working hard and bringing the heat. No reason why we can;t win

Why are GWS paid HTB when they knock the ball out and don’t even tackle? Ridiculous

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
