NON-MFC: Round 19

A mate of mine who barracks for Collingwood said last week ‘No Gawn no Melbourne’

My response to him this weekend was the bleeding obvious ‘No Ginnivan no Collingwood’

He can do what he likes for Hawthorn when he’s playing the filth.

Ginny would have been a better get then McAdam

Port only beating Richmond by 41 is actually a minor win for us.

Given Richmond sent a VFL side over to Adelaide, Port really should’ve won by 60+

Just seeing the highlights of Hawthorn Vs Collingwood.  Ginnivan is an obnoxious little germ 🤮

I like the guy…..he had a fight with Skunkhead Maynard.

Geelong down.
We'll deal with the Dogs like usual.

We always deal with the Dogs in the first game.

It’s the return game we have troubles with.

Absolutely. But I like him more than last year.
There’s always room for an annoying little [censored] that gets under the skin of the opposition.
I don’t think we have one at present or they haven’t quite learned to channel their inner bastard.

Hopefully Maynard gets a couple of weeks.

Fair go deever - the poor fellow's elbow was clearly assaulted by a Hawthorn player's throat.

Dogs should be home now on a wet deck

The ground surface is a disgrace what happened to all the money they were given

Poor drainage and soft surface not suitable for footy

I read a few comments earlier in this thread about the surface at Geelong and thought there might be a few puddles that posters were making a fuss about.  I didn't look at it till late in the game. It felt like I had entered a time machine to the 1960's.

Yeah. Don’t need to worry about the drainage or over use. Just look at the stands. Aren’t they pretty?

If the crows or weagles admin have any balls, they should demand the surface be improved or they can host the match. Geelong are relying on it being their right to host games but they can get stuffed or forfeit.

Going off

Has the AFL made any comment about the state of the ground?

After some poor form I think the Swans will win a close one today

If the lions win that’s 7 on the trot and they are top 4 locks

Disgraceful tunnelling tackle not paid that quarter

Umpire was right there😡

That was inexcusable, can't wait for the excuse from AFL house.

Rampe subbed out, little Papa down the to the rooms. Injuries hitting the Swans.

If we lose today we will fall off the chase badly. Lions winning does us no favours

Not even remotely true.

If we lose we’ll be 2 points out of the 8, and still within one game of 5th (possibly 4th too, if Brisbane lose).

Our draw gets easier from here, not harder, with the last three (Port, GC, Coll) easier than the next three (Fremantle, GWS, Dogs).
