Just seeing the highlights of Hawthorn Vs Collingwood.  Ginnivan is an obnoxious little germ 🤮

Absolutely. But I like him more than last year.
There’s always room for an annoying little [censored] that gets under the skin of the opposition.
I don’t think we have one at present or they haven’t quite learned to channel their inner bastard.

A mate of mine who barracks for Collingwood said last week ‘No Gawn no Melbourne’

My response to him this weekend was the bleeding obvious ‘No Ginnivan no Collingwood’

Pretty silky!

The ground surface is a disgrace what happened to all the money they were given

Poor drainage and soft surface not suitable for footy

I read a few comments earlier in this thread about the surface at Geelong and thought there might be a few puddles that posters were making a fuss about.  I didn't look at it till late in the game. It felt like I had entered a time machine to the 1960's.

Yeah. Don’t need to worry about the drainage or over use. Just look at the stands. Aren’t they pretty?

If the crows or weagles admin have any balls, they should demand the surface be improved or they can host the match. Geelong are relying on it being their right to host games but they can get stuffed or forfeit.

After some poor form I think the Swans will win a close one today

If the lions win that’s 7 on the trot and they are top 4 locks

If we lose today we will fall off the chase badly. Lions winning does us no favours

Not even remotely true.

If we lose we’ll be 2 points out of the 8, and still within one game of 5th (possibly 4th too, if Brisbane lose).

Our draw gets easier from here, not harder, with the last three (Port, GC, Coll) easier than the next three (Fremantle, GWS, Dogs).

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
