How is that straight away 50 without telling him “2 meters” or whatever?

He over stepped the mark because the kick went about 8m

Our basic skill level is just way off tonight.

Simple handballs not done properly.

Some lazy footy unfortunately.

It's not tonight. It's literally any time we play in the wet.

We’re not switched on. You already like the way this game is going to go. No pressure and fumbling all over the place.

WHY ARE WE NOT MANNING UP IN THEIR 50???!’n

Why is NOT ONE of our players within 2 metres of an opponent when they kick the ball from defence. Stop guarding FN grass and pick someone up. How does this gameplan still get used.

Defence just don't want to defend tonight it seems.

Come on man.

Footy’s no fun with that attitude.

Thanks Umpires. No prior opportunity but a free paid.

Draper is absolutely smashing Petty in the ruck and giving their mids first use of the footy.

Terrible defending

Unrelated but did I recall us being linked to Darcy parish? @goodwindees

He’s contracted until the end of 2029. Signed a six year deal last season.

Bit quick with the holding the ball calls.

These umps are chumps.

Just sweat the ball carrier from here on.

  • POSTGAME: Geelong

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.

It's Game Day, and reinforcements are finally arriving for the Demons—but will it be too little, too late? They're heading down the freeway to face a Cats side returning home to their fortress after two straight losses, desperate to reignite their own season. Can the Demons breathe new life into their campaign, or will it slip even further from their grasp?

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
