They're also not quite as clean in general vs Port.

If they clean those two aspects up and start winning the odd center clearance they're still a reasonable chance though.

Port are very good rebound / sling shot show ponies and pretty decent at CBs but that's about it.

Exactly what I was thinking! I wondered if they at some point realised how ridiculous they were being but were too deep into the conversation to stop. Luke Hodge in particular sounded like he was realising the stupidity, mid-sentence. 😅

Yes the Adelaide teams always get a bad run from the umpires.

Ask any Port fan and they will tell you that every one of the 8 frees Saints have got was an incorrect decision.
