Petty, BBB, JVR and Fritta a combined 0 marks between them.

Well Fritsch did have a mark but the Brisbane player illegally chopped his arms.

It all comes down to the midfield. We are getting smashed in clearances and contested possessions. That’s the game.
You can’t blame the forwardline when the midfield is not able to win the ball.

Look very flat, 2 hard games with 5 day breaks … not sure why we never  have tall fwds  when the ball is going fwd

BBB should be deep inside the 50 and trying to attract Harris Andrews attention. Instead we keep hoping that JVR can compete with a veteran Backman.

What's disappointing about that is that he used to clunk everything for Casey.

He's OK when the ball comes in soft but not when it comes in with pace.

Tall key forwards Petty BBB JVR - one solitary disposal to half time.

Add Frittata - 2 disposals between them

2 kicks in total for the half for Brown, Tholstrup, Fritsch, Windsor, vanRooyen, Pettty combined😱

Makes you wonder how Brisbane's midfield can be so superior, but they are killing us! Everything else flows from this.

As a team performance this is about as bad as it gets, hardly anyone winning their position can't see us getting out of this

We look tired;  BBB, Petty Billings nothing

Shot to bits.

We butchered two attacking thrusts in that last little peroid.

We had them cold and reduced the deficit by a couple of goals.

Terrible football.

No it's his marking technique full stop.

Well he's two disposals above Bbb. .Fritta and Petty the latter who has had zero touches.

Petty no touches in a half.....hmmm.

Joeboy. Great stuff. Name names. Running in circles.  JVR has dropped 15 marks in a row.

This is simplistic. We are down in all areas aside from goal accuracy compared to last year and we are getting smoked by a team that is going moderate to good in all areas aside from accuracy. Just so happens there slotting them tonight.

Easy shots given.

You may be right. I do know that he can't be dishing up what he has been. Take the damn game on. There's a point in time where we may as well give Jefferson an earlier than expected crack.

I think Norf put up a better fight against them last week.

We are kicking a score similar to a Hawthorn or North tbh.

The inexperience of our youngsters, Windsor, Howes, JVR and McVee, is showing.
And our experienced forwards, Brown, Petty, Fritter, are out of position when the ball comes in.

Clarrie is obviously hampered by his hand and is pretty much useless tonight.

Agree we’ve been [censored], but I’m ready to jump the fence and deck one of these useless umpires.

* violence apparently doesn’t solve anything. I might find out later.

Did anyone else get the feeling we were talking up our wins in Adelaide too much.

Like we had just one a final.

Clearly we were very happy with these wins

So much so we have given up on this one

A very poor performance.

Very poor

From the top down.

And a shout out to Kozzie...well played sitting on the sidelines.

Move Petty back & T Mac forward. Worth a try at least.

Was thinking exactly that.

Gotta make a move when absolutely nothing is working up forward.

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
