Winning two games in Adelaide in 5 days will be an enormous fillip to our season.

The Crows will be trying to regain some pride and credibility in front of their home crowd, so expect early fireworks.

But..... after a tight first half we will  stone the Crows by 3 or 4 goals!

Expect a breakout night from Kozzie.

We've got his.

( I hope)

I want a stress free and relaxing old fashioned smashing of these silly crows.

I’m not too sure about tonight… 5 day break, being in a mini hub for the week, I’m worried about May, Crows backs to the wall.
Winning tonight will be huge for us. But if we are a bit flat and get rolled I think I’ll understand why

Game Day!!!

Phew thought you had forgotten or i missed a day

Lots to think about tonight,

5 day break,  crows need a win, Goody back in his hometown, might he want to go back at some stage. I think they will under estimate Windsor and he will have a blinder! MrMay is he right,

will we be flat ? Hope not and think not. Our work rate is better this year. But if we bleed the first three goals again I might hide under the pillow.

start well and put them away. Kick straight

go Dee’s

Mentioned in another thread that a South Australian played a very central role in the development of penicillin. The dual flush toilet also emerged from South Australia. Would be poetic if we could send the two local teams' seasons down the drain in the space of one week.

The Port win was huge. We showed a steely resolve not seen since 21. I've been buzzing since Sat night. that win has given me great belief about our chances this year.

i expect a tough battle. Crows have no choice other than full throttle effort. the locals will drive them out of town otherwise. but they have been genuinely putrid so far this season. there whole game style has collapsed. Walker is not right, Thilthorpe out. They can't kick goals.

We'll batten down the hatches and weather the early storm.

Maxy and our mids will wrestle control and set us on our way. Fritschy BB and JVR with a couple will kick the goals for us.

Professional unit to deliver a professional game. Its either a grind to the end where I expect our class to shine above (See port game) or they roll over and dees by 40+ w/ 3 Kozzie goals.

The murder of Crows will be slaughtered.

By the end of the night we will just hear Caw, Caw, Caaaaaaaaaawww.

Crows will crack in, desperate times in front of ~40k+ desperados but our class will see us home.

Go Dees!

Lets Go Sport GIF by ALL ELITE WRESTLING

Since round 0 our games have been professional,  disciplined and clinical.

We have a new belief in the way we are playing and have stuck to our task. The camaraderie that was missing in 22,23 is back along with care for our teamates.

They are driven to go 2-0 in Adelaide and will turn it on tonight

Should win, would be disappointed if we don’t. Short break isn’t ideal but it’s the price we pay for popularity that they put us on in prime time instead of hiding us away on the 4:35 Sunday slot like they used to.

ANB about to get the hardest tag of his life tonight after all the media attention this week. Should be able to burn them off by 3QT with his hard running.

Reckon we'll win, but it'll be one of those games where we'll be stressing out until the last 10 minutes

Kozzys is due to kick a bag sooner or later.

I do hope it's tonight.

Jvr to do some damage too.

Crows to get caught who to stop the most...Petty or Bbb.

I do not like the Adelaide Crows.

It isn't so much that I hate them or that they have a high priority in my thoughts. I just don't like them.

Losing to them would feel like watching a slack colleague get an efficiency award for finally doing the basic thing they've been putting off for six months which caused you a whole lot of extra trouble.

I dislike them on the level of a debate about who is supposed to order printer ink.

Let's just get it done so we don't have to think about them again until next year.

It's Gather round .

A showcase of all things SA.

That includes their beloved clubs.

I hope the umps behave well.

I do not like thee, Doctor Fell,
The reason why – I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not like thee, Doctor Fell.

Will be a perfect night for footy and I hope Petty kicks 5 just to rub it in.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.

  • PREVIEW: Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Suns find themselves outside of the top eight for the first time since Round 1 with pressure is mounting on the entire organisation. Their coach Damien Hardwick expressed his frustration at his team’s condition last week by making a middle-finger gesture on television that earned him a fine for his troubles. He showed his desperation by claiming that Fox should pick up the tab.  There’s little doubt the Suns have shown improvement in 2025, and their position on the ladder is influenced to some extent by having played fewer games than their rivals for a playoff role at the end of the season, courtesy of the disruption caused by Cyclone Alfred in March.  However, they are following the same trajectory that hindered the club in past years whenever they appeared to be nearing their potential. As a consequence, that Hardwick gesture should be considered as more than a mere behavioral lapse. It’s a distress signal that does not bode well for the Queenslanders. While the Suns are eager to remain in contention with the top eight, Melbourne faces its own crisis, which is similarly deep-seated but in a much different way. After recovering from a disappointing start to the season and nearing a return to respectability among its peer clubs, the Demons have experienced a decline in status, driven by the fact that while their form has been reasonable (see their performance against the ladder leader in the Kings Birthday match), their conversion in front of goal is poor enough to rank last in the competition. Furthermore, their opponents find them exceptionally easy to score against. As a result, they have effectively eliminated themselves from the finals race and are again positioned to finish in the bottom half of the ladder.
