I would not play May. No change except Billings as sub with Woey in for a complete run,

Even though we won, we had some quiet players, but, with a 5 day break, we need to see how the boys pull up and who is available before we worry about form changes. I didn’t think there was anyone tonight who was so bad that they should be dropped.

As good as Windsor has been I’d give the kid a spell especially with the five day break

Give Woey a full game, Billings the sub & fit May in if fit😀

There'll be some sore bodies after that one.

Impossible to pick a team as I'm sure there could be some niggles that might force some changes.

Does anyone know how big the squad is that went over? Is it just tonights team plus the emergencies?

Windsor doesn’t look as though he needs a rest. At his rate of improvement he’ll probably be in our best 6 at the club after next week. I haven’t seen a player come at our club come do what Windsor has. We’re a top 4 level club, and this kid comes in first year and improves the side drastically. Unless he gets injured he’ll be winning the rising star.

Might look at Hore and the suggestion of swapping Billings is a good one. Four day break is tough after such a gruelling game.

I would give Billings a full game. Look at last week's game where he was nearly BOG. As for May, I would give it another week.

Billings as a wing rotation and his foot skills are important to us.  Ha stays in, no one in our reserves has the polish he does.  Also gives Langdon and Windsor a chop out and keeps our run fresh through the game

No change for me. Woey was a great injection of speed, but I think we’d need Billing’s clean disposals / fwd 50 entries for this game.

Milera out is a big loss for Adelaide, so I think we should have some forward advantage over their depleted backline.

TMac should go to Tex to leave Leaver as the intercept.

I feel for Max. ROB is a tough opponent, so after a 5 day break I wouldn’t mind if we shared some of the rucking duties around.

Adelaide has uncharacteristically poor disposal efficiencies at the moment. Keep the midfield pressure on. Leave Crouch alone as he doesn’t always take the best options and man up on Dawson who should be their best player. Laird is elite so not much we can do there.

Please make training a very light one.

The Afl must be taking the Fizz.

Two away games against SA teams in a row.

Throw in a five day break.

Tossers

I hope we crush the Crows.

It is an absolute shocking draw. I mean you couldn’t disadvantage a team anymore.

Glad the team has made a mini holiday out of it for the club - it may actually end up working in our favour.

Crows form has been genuinely putrid. They have to turn the corner soon and won't be surprised if its on Thursday. I expect a stern challenge from them.

BB is super important for us. Gotta manage him though the season. Given the ridicoulous 5-day break perhaps Fullarton comes in for him. he'll provide a chop out for Maxy as well.

billings was quiet but we should persevere. It'll be a hot contest again so he'll need to front up better otherwise Woey will take his place.

We could look back on this week in Adelaide as providing the platform for our flag tilt. Back-to-back wins in SA will work wonders for belief and confidence.

Meanwhile Port has 3 consecutive home games, but they lost the first one 😁.

At least the Crows only have one extra day, but with a trip back from Perth. So both are disadvantaged in a way.

It sounds like the club are turning this fixture debacle into a positive and setting up a mini hub for the week. The last time we were in a hub we won a flag.

Winning this game and being 4-1 after three interstate games would be amazing. It leaves just four interstate games (excl. Alice Springs) for the remaining 18 rounds and one of those is against WCE 😊

On Steven May please give him the extra week to recover please medical department.

No need for him against the Crows.

Get him right for the Lions at the G so we can finish their season.

Hubs are good for our group, we respond well to them.

Win against the Crows and we are a lock for top 2.

Has to get the ball though.

If there is no change to the squad I would probably swap Woey for Billings.

If May comes in then Billings out, Hore as the sub.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

It's Game Day and the Demons are once again faced with a classic 8 point game against a traditional rival on King's Birthday at the MCG. A famous victory will see them reclaim a place in the Top 8 whereas a loss will be another blow for their finals credentials.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
