Broke out in hives, had difficulty breathing with severe nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.

Apparently an anaphylactic reaction to a Collingwood premiership.

May wasn’t wrong. He did look a bit baffled as to why he plays for - who he acknowledges to be - a superior team that cannot get the job done, against a less talented list. I know Collingwood fans won’t agree, but if both lists were on an open market for coaches - most coaches would choose our list. We’d probably beat Collingwood by 10 goals if we had Macrae.

You've got to laugh at anyone who agrees with May's comments from the bnf.

Talk about immaturity again. He sounded like a man-child and I highly doubt Goodwin and co would agree that his view was representative of the groups. 

His comments sounded like an arrogant spoilt child if you ask many people. And of course those comments will be used by Mcrae etc. They thrive off things like this. 

The fact is, they won a flag and after losing a prelim by a point last year and we've bundled out in straight sets two years running. 

You simply can't throw up excuses like that as a senior member of an AFL club. It's sooooooo cringe and childish. Joisus.

I highly doubt May hasn't had shellfish before, so I'm curious from a scientific point of view as to how he had an allergic reaction this time. I didn't know it was possible to have an allergic reaction to something one has previously not been allergic to.

Well the pies fans aren't to sympathetic. 

Just glad he's alright. Anaphylaxis is very serious.

"We're better than them" "Play out brand, we've got them covered" "We know we're a better side" is the exact sort of messaging that would be used internally in every single game they go out to play. In the week leading up to it, pre game, during quarter breaks, the works. Calling it immature, arrogant or spoilt shows an enormous lack of understanding about the psychology required to will yourself to contest after contest, and how important trusting your teammates to best their opponents is. Without that mindset, you're on a hiding to nothing, and every contest becomes about luck because you're not there utterly convinced that you can beat your man. 

He never once made an excuse in saying what he said. It was almost the exact opposite - that it was hard and he hating watching the Pies go on and win the flag because he knows we're better. That's an admission of failure that's now burning, not an excuse.

It's true though, we beat ourselves in the QF. Pies are no slouches obviously but all May was saying was it hurts seeing another team win the flag when we know we could've won it ourselves. Clearly results are what matter and we need to walk the walk but it's hardly doomsday.

I'm sure the club thought the same watching the Cats win last year - we know we have the list and we have underachieved the last 2 years. It's not provocative it's just where they see themselves. It's an indictment on us if anything.

Let the Collingwood nuffies froth, it's what they're good at.
