Need the first goal in the last quarter.

First 3

We’re finishing stronger. Just need to convert.

and for the love of god. Do not concede the first goal in the final quarter.

go dees. Give it everything now

We must win the first clearance here.

Because they like it.

I don’t know the exact stats but I do know we went from having less marks than them to more in that quarter.

Marking in finals football is key.

More players who can take a mark (and ideally kick) please.

Not sure why there is so much Tomlinson hate, he’s the reason Lever and May have done their jobs.

Never been the same since he cut his hair

Extensions?

Good effort to get in front but so much wastage.

Tracc & Viney coming inside bah.

They have a spare in defence you cant kick to the top of the square!  Find a man or go over to the fat side,

Why are we not using the snap on tight angle shots?

Our forward craft is just rediculously bad.

Not great at ground level inside 50 bar Kozzy on a few occasions and Fritta's crumb further out in that quarter.

FFS

Just cant win enough centre clearances

Again we let them get the first in the last???!!!!

And how come ARC didn’t give us something then???

That wasn't ideal.

Nathan Williamson is not worthy of a final. Umpire 22. No respect to Gawn who was impeded something chronic in the forward pocket.

Was wondering when he would get a mention on here. Surprised it took until 3/4 time.
Hasn’t umpired in a PF or GF……….I wonder why that is?

Please Kozzie kick the last goal and beat them by a few points

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
