HUN = Unofficial Pies PR agent / mouth piece (for decades).

Even when they've gone poorly the HUN still finds a way to get them on the front or back page with the most trivial story or even a non-story.

You know what you're going to get every time.  Only good for wrapping fish n chips etc.

Or wiping my dogs bum with it.

Quite the dichotomy this…

Head injuries are generally bad, concussions end careers and affect the long term quality of life of some players.

However, on this occasion, it would be  cathartic to see that bozo knocked the [censored] out in the first quarter - if not the first five minutes.

This right here is everything that is wrong with the AFL and our society.

Victim blaming and celebrating of thuggery.

No wonder that 2 in every 5 Australians have experienced domestic or sexual assault in their lifetime, when the biggest sport in this country constantly perpetuates this type of aggressive behaviour as peak masculinity.

Yep you are exactly right! this post gets perfect p.f chuck rating 10! given how gutless those that are guilty of this behaviour are

No because we want him to hopefully remember him losing another GF. Him losing would be painful enough for him. Hopefully he plays on Cameron and Charlie kicks a bagful.

Why can’t we have both? He suffers a narrow loss in the grand final (again), then Dane Zorko falls off the winners’ podium and flattens him (in a footy act) and they’re both knocked out cold.

All good though, flowers and wine fixes everything. 👍🏽

Oh ok so we insult someone with a different view, how mature of you all.

There is a lot of viewing through red and blue glasses here. I guarantee with 100% accuracy if it was gus jumping into Maynard all of your opinions would be reversed. I hate Maynard and think he is a dirty player but in this instance I don't not believe there was malice. I also don't believe either player is to blame hence the football act.

Don't know why I am bothering as you all will only see it 1 way. Next time I'll keep my opinion to myself so I don't get jumped on for having a differing on view.

And this is the absolute Ludicrous interpretation which got this thug of!! What did he jump at ??? A bloody Shadow? Hows the line, I didn't know he was there! Well why jump you meathead!?? Totally flawed logic here. Surely the AFL MUST appeal this and if not, just wait and watch the carnage unfold when blokes line those that are in process of kicking or handballing get absolutely poleaxed !

Read "The Roar" comment on the case and it sums it up perfectly Azz.

Maynard had no intention of avoiding or not jumping as he clearly and illegally launched himself off the ground to inflict whatever damage occurred and then the case wrongly gave him a leeway falsely excusing him on the .

Had to IMDb Eddie Salita but yeah, he should suffice. We’ll tell him to take both of them out. Make it look like an accident. Or a footy act.

Wish people would stop throwing rocks at Maynard. Be careful what you wish for.  Maynard could end up with the Norm Smith medal. Unlikely but possible.

Its been a shocking month and can only get worse.

Cant see Lions beating Pies on the G. Pies will be absolutely bursting out of the starting blocks for this GF.

Should win easly especially if Daniher and Hipwood mupp it.

Expecting enormous amounts of love by the umpires for Daicos.

How exactly does throwing (well deserved) rocks at Maynard improve his chances of anything?  Not by enough to stop me venting. Sorry.

this game could possibly be zorko's last game.

we all know he's a thug and an enforcer.

what's to lose for him if he illegally takes out maynard?  a free kick on their backline

Why not?  Lions have beaten Pies last  6 times apparently.  Will hold no fears for them and the Pies have come in to the finals in average form and losses.

Don't ne sucked in by the Melbourne hype surrounding Pies.

It would also be 50 metres if he's reported on the spot.  Worth every metre, I say!

You’re right, we should stop throwing rocks. Let’s throw boulders instead.

Unrelated (except totally related): are trebuchets still a thing?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
