was it in the west of the town?

I am pumped. Got the day off work, the kid will be in daycare, it's gonna be 29 degrees and sunny in Amsterdam. Can't wait to smash beers in the sun after a big win!!

Then down to the redlight district after we win.

👍

With you guys in spirit, spread your magic gold dust all over the G tonight my fellow Demonlanders.

Go Dees🇱🇮💯👍

Tmac to be a real wildcard. Kozzie to show some magic. Oliver back to his best . Lever to mark everything.

And Viney to....well do what he always does. See ball, get ball, find a team mate,  collect a pies player.

I'm wearing my Dees gear under my work clothes. Sending out positive vibes. Let's go!

how do you think a name like Brownie comes about??

Going to be a long day. Haven’t been nervous all week but stomach is now in knots.
Still a chance of rain. I’m know others have stated that all Tmac has to do is create a contest, bring the ball to ground and keep Moore accountable and I agree do that and we are well on our way to winning. However an early goal from him would really settle my nerves.

Without a doubt. The next biggest for me was the last round in 87 at Whitten Oval. [censored] that was a big day.

Do they go by the same Demonland name?

I’m so nervous I think I should wear three pairs. Remember to bring my poncho. Everything crosses for a win. Go Dee’s

They smell like the Collingwood cheer squad. 😜

Going to bed now.

Will be watching tomorrow morning at 11:20am from Hamburg.

This is the most important game of the year and will ensure a trip to the GF is very much on the cards.

Come on dees !!!

absolutely bricking it for tonight, cant wait.

Just need to remind myself

we are underdogs, there will be times where they will have momentum, we will look slow, fumble, and kick it to their defenders,

but I need to know that we will leave it all out there, we will also have momentum at times and that there will probably be a kick in it at the end.

This is my last game for the year, ill be late because of parent teacher interviews, but I will bring my demon spirit and leave it all out there

This is the beginning of the journey, and at the end there could be something really special in for us all

love this club, see yall tonight

#footballiscominghome. #godees. #demonspirit

… and here come the nerves!!

(I think we win, by 2-3 goals because hot damn I believe in this team, but still nerves haha 😬)

They weren't very lucky in last year's finals series.

Having said that, I doubt that there is a causal link between your choice of undergarments and the outcome of football matches.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
