Imagine the heat on Beveridge if they lose this.

From Lukewarm Beveridge to Boiling Hot Beveridge

Did anyone see Big O’s goal soft called a behind by the umpire as touched, but despite inconclusive evidence, the ARC overturned it? Funny how things change…

It wasn't inconclusive. ARC said you could see gap between ball and fingers, it was conclusive.

Do the dogs look like a team that have a burning desire to play finals to anyone?

Yet there was a gap with Marchbank’s?

Look like a team expecting an easier game, reminds me on the 2017 game against the Pies.

West Coast putting up a fight to honor the final game of... their entire list except Oscar Allen and Jayden Hunt.

That's right.

But it was more luck than good management, in the sense they were lucky they had a decent angle on it - the Fox coverage angle I'm guessing.

It was just as likely for there not to be an angle, or frame good enough to over rule the soft call.

And the point would have stood, as it did for tracc's goal.

But you were posting about McInerney’s goal tonight and that was conclusive.

How bloody WONDERFUL... jeelong to win and not make finals AND THE HEADCASES AT Dishlickers land to fall into the ABYSS

BEVO ON VEEEERY SHAKEY GROUND🤯

Hate the cut of their jib.

But hate most things about that club, hate the petulant coach, hate the entitled players, hate that they have been kissed on the proverbial with father sons, hate that they have been given hundreds of millions for their oval that's not an oval, hate the super soft draw that they are given each year

Generally don't like that club

Hate it. Attempt to make their traps look bigger. Aka the “Dorrito” look to those in the gym scene 😜

…. hate the way at least 3 Cats players appeal for a free with arms out every time there is a contest.

"Geelong cannot play finals".....theres something so poetic about that piece of commentary.

Come on Eagles - drop your bundle…don’t you want our draft picks?! 😂

Damn Adelaide is scarred

Players are humans. They must feel really flat and unmotivated after last week. Nothing to play for.

Crows embarrassing, west coast could yet pinch another win

Adelaide probably aren’t in the head space to go 100% rat power to win a dead rubber after the injustice of last week.

The way West Coast and North keep giving each other pick 1 makes me think both clubs are going to get exactly what they want with their respective first picks.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
