GAMEDAY: Rd 21 VS North Melbourne

Worse start weve seen for a long time.

No effort or pressure

North like Hawks have nothing to lose. This is as soft a performance as I’ve seen from us.

You’re a joke Melbourne. Thanks for letting us down when we needed a W.

Man, we are NOWHERE right now.

8 scoring shots against us (so far) by the second last team in the comp. On a 16

On a 17 game losing streak…

Goody needs to tell these players at quarter time to pull there head out from there backsides and start playing our footy

Imagine having such a low pressure rating in a game where 2nd spot is up for grabs.

It's a worry.

I'm sick of having to play at these grounds but there is no excuse for this .

Gee Goody why take Max out of the middle?

Can Sparrow stop pin pointing passes to the opposition FFS

Just saw the pressure rating. Jeez.

At least Viney trying to lead the way.

20 clangers from 50 disposals

go dees

A win isnt critical for us at this stage of the season.

North has more to play for.

Need to be planning for finals, not to bust ouselves in uncritical games.

Amazing they missed the fifty to Bowey. Also amazing they’ve missed viney being held at every stoppage.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
