That is the biggest load of BS for a brown low medal.  Umpires cannot get it right.  It's getting worse by the year.

But hopefully an omen for Saturday 'Collingwood' falters in the last, to be run over by 'Brisbane'

Just [censored] off. When you think you can’t hate the AFL anymore you watch this waste of time

Meh ... I just tune in at the end.
But even the last 10mins I won't get back.

Does anyone really think Neale had a Brownlow quality season?

To me he was mostly average in a great side.

All we need to do is not release the coaches votes every week and bang! We have a much more meaningful award to celebrate at the end of the season.

What a joke!!! He did nothing all year, not AA............I hate this rubbish. Bont would have been a much better winner.

He's second half was ok but was going to get dropped at one point.

If Gulden was a Daicos, he would’ve got the 3 votes in the last round. Two goals and 42 touches is a Nick Daicos 3 vote game every day of the week.

Proud of the combined votes of Christian and Jack.

Well done Jack Viney 7th in a Brownlow thoroughly deserved, and had a better last third of the year than trac. So umps got that right

Oh look .
Enter the Dragon on 7mate.
Woo Hoo I'm off..

Neale was average. Nothing given to Dunkley or McLuggage etc

Add neale to the accumulators like Mitchell, Priddis etc.

Curnow had twice the year Neale did and wouldn’t even be in the top 25

As good as it would have been for Trac to win, you've gotta feel for the Bont. Seriously dudded twice

100%
Gulden deserved 3. Trac 2.
How did Trac get 0 votes for this game and his game against North? Absolutely putrid.

Gutted. Yet again. The year that keeps on giving, not. Just feel feel so goddam low at the moment

Does anyone expect a fair count? The umps cannot get the basic decisions right, how can they adjudge the best player..

Far out! That was frustrating!

Jack Viney 3 votes against Sydney was a mystery.

Angus Brayshaw 3 votes against North Melbourne was also bizarre.

But oh well.

Lachie Neale from the Lions is a well deserved winner.

Pretty confident Christian Petracca will win the Demons' Best & Fairest this year though at least.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
