They seem to get a lot.

Haha, get on the $2.10 for the Swans Wadda.

Sauce? :)

You could be onto something there DZ.

Do we want the blues to win or lose this week? Putting hatred aside I feel a loss would keep their fans away next week as the season is done.

A win gives them belief ..

The Carlton jumper is a bit of a Faroe Island knit / indigenous pastiche.

If the Afl is serious about preventing concussions they would have umps penalise players dropping knees or ducking.

Are you a copywriter for a fashion label? If not, you should be! 😁

Unless their playing Essendon always want them to lose.

I'd rather be the team that finally snuffed out their belief.

Not quite WCW. I put together safari itineraries for people visiting Africa. Maybe in the next life.

J. Peterman, is that you?

Is it just me or is Hodgy a bit OTT with almost always expecting 'Perfect' accountability from defenders & such?

I genuinely hope the Blues win. They’re going to win soon and I hope it’s not against us. I’d rather them win tonight and get their hopes up before we roll them.

We’re already facing a side (tomorrow) high on confidence.

I was very confused.
For a few moments I thought Port Adelaide must have shown up.

My hobby horse - running headlong into a pack or a player (Butters) must be penalised, and possibly suspended.

Just lost [censored] power. Beers and bongs by candlelight tonight. 💪

Take it or leave it with a Carlton win. Really don't think it has any bearing on next week either way.

Will Frankenstein be suspended for the hip to the head, Mr Impartial Christian?  No. Nothing to see.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
