Geelong winning the lions share of the contested ball but haven't been able to convert. Tiges have kicked straight and managed to keep the shackles on Cameron although Hawkins looks like he could cut loose.

Geelong not out of this at all

Tigers being burned by the umpiring. So many pushes in the back, missed throws, and holding the ball decisions earnt but not given.

Picket is silky once he gets on the move.  Nice decision maker also

Remember when umpire dissent was a rule? That was a fun 6 weeks.

Another overlooked against Smith just then.  Ye olde AFL "different rules for different folk" trick

I see nothing in Taranto or Hopper. They both look too slow.

Beat me to it.

Hopper over rated.

Taranto poor kick.

Wow

Umpiring an horrendous joke again tonight... 🤦‍♂️

Ffs, AFL get your priorities right

Was at the Storm game last night, and this pales in comparison to the ref & bunker in charge yesterday

I know they have some outs, but when was the last time Geelong conceded 50 points in a Q

I don't know, but not in this game. Do you mean 50 in a half? That would be Rd 7 vs Essendon, two weeks ago.

Jack riewoldt is cooked. Tiges doing well to be ahead considering they have no forward line.

Cats fwds aint much better with cameron having to play behind the ball to setup play.

Richmonds disposal is just junktime and Geelong are only out there putting in  an appearance. With the outs that Geelong have it is an opportunity for Richmond but they seem to have really fallen by the wayside.

Powell, first contest on the wing hits Jermaine Jones in the head trying to spoil then hits him in the head with his knee. Both incidental, no injury. I assume he’ll offer to sit out two weeks, it’s what he deserves.

I see heaps @The heart beats true. $1M down the drain annually for the next seven years. BeautiFOOL.

$1m, try at least $1.5m.

My formula for calculations is based on the amount they are overpaid. For example @Redleg, they would have been better to recruit James Jordon for $400,000 a year and received the same output they are getting for 800K, with considerably more upside it must be said. You could argue for example, with Jack Reewold in his wheelchair, they should have done after Lobe to play second fiddle to Lynch. Cost half the price of Toronto and Hopper and structurally they would be much better off.

How are the Tigers being smashed in the middle with Taranto Prestia Hopper against…. who?

    TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
