The misuse of this word, especially when describing footy players, is so irritating. I’m assuming they mean “lackadaisical”?

Lions much better than Carlton tonight. They've beaten them in all areas. Hard to see Carlton making top 4 based on this game.

Intensity at, over and around the ball missing.  No run.

When they haven't got the pill it's very much the same.  Pressure is way off.

Blues have regressed so far this season

How bad must be the Eagles be if Carlton is dishing up this 💩 tonight.

And on a totally unrelated note I had no idea we had the best % in the comp.

Before round 1, I picked Carlton for 9th. Apart from Weitering, their defence is full of NQR's. If they can't stop Hipwood (who I once rated but now consider him less than average) they won't stop many good scoring teams.

I feel like Hipwood gets off the chain 3-4 times a year because their forward line is stacked with potentially damaging players. In an ordinary side I reckon he’d struggle.

Have to say Harry McKay is one of the laziest forwards, just watch how far he trails behind people when the opposition has the ball, and even when the contest is near, he is a witches hat!

Also Carlton are too scared to take a risk into the corridor, everything is out wide and down the wings, and Brisbane are just waiting, dumb football.

Maybe Carlton won't make the finals.

Oh the irony of them missing by half a game after their draw with Tigers.

Well it is a big word, even though it was not the appropriate one - lackadaisical

Carlton aren't physical enough to match Brisbane.

Bruise free perhaps

Carlton need a coach. Voss might have been a great player but he is not a coach.

Voss, Hird, Buckley in the same boat.

At the ground with a Blues supporting mate.

Saad is clueless, deer in headlights stuff. Blues defence sloppy and lazy (mids not getting back fast enough). McKay is useless once the ball hits the deck.

Their movement out of the backline is constantly to the flanks and wings (where have I seen that before).

Don’t know if Lions are good enough for a serious tilt, but Carlton sure ain’t.

Carlton will be out of the eight by the end of this round and I can not see them getting back in. I just [censored] because I changed my tip from The Lions to the Blues just before the game started

Ikr, my gut had picked Lions.  I'm running the tips for myself and a friend, and she asked if it was smart going against the betting odds in favour for Carlton.  Changed us both to the blues and the regret is strong 😂

Richo is really just about as dumb as BT - the entire commentary is moronic bloke banter.  Unfortunately this season I have been unable to sync digital, direct or AFL app radio commentary.

"If Carlton get a goal they will be 27 points down - they are now 33 down, BT".  WOW.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
