Fair dinkum, the biased umpiring in the West Coast games should come under investigation. Of course nothing will happen with the protected species they are. Makes watching so hard.

It's disheartening for players not be rewarded for tackles.

Well done Vines

Any chance we could get out of 3rd gear for 10-15?

Sure umps are gonna try and keep them in it, but if we really wanted to work for it and each other, that’d sort it all out.

Yep Lazy players out there today

WC double teaming Clarry ... a number of holds off the ball.

They've called 2 so far but missed as many

Hunter's had a few brains snaps this season.  He's good with plenty of room but a bit of a worry under heat on occasions.

Sparrow 10 touches @ 40 efficiency

Jordon would be rolling in his grave

Well .... That was a skanky 1st half.

We’ll this is hard to watch. Hopefully they come out and destroy them in the second half. Pressure is very high but disposals have been pretty horrendous

Free kick count is 9-9. But it’s the ones they don’t pay that frustrates me.

Whats the point of having the 4th umpire if they still refuse to pay the bleeding obvious?

That didn't age well!

I also followed up with when he takes the first option he's better, but to think his way through he is just not there.

There’s just not much speed, bend or jump in the old legs. He perfectly read the play there to get the ball inside 9 and rush it using a team mate but bending down and firing the handball tested him. As does every contested situation he’s in.

I think we’d be wise to give him a week off every now and then for a physical and mental freshen up.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
