I really don’t rate him. I watched a lot of the Hawks this year, both at VFL and AFL level Koschitzke is just that little bit off. NQR. I don’t think we’ve missed out there.

Mitchell Lewis on the other hand is a dead set gun…

Ah well there you go. Not too bummed we got Fullerton then, who will at least have some upside in the ruck.

Haha damn straight! Is he available!? 🤣

He has never really done anything.  He reminds me of Weed.  Looks like a footballer but doesn’t play like one

Ah that’s the worst one! Did disguised as a footballer! We’ve been had before lol

If we can go into the draft with pick 6, 11, McAdam, Fullarton, Billings and a backup ruck like Lycett we’ll have done incredibly well.
Billings as wing depth, two potential ruck options should Gawny get sore or need a rest and some x-factor for the forwardline. That ticks all our boxes.
Not to mention some potential gun mids or a move for one exceptional talent. Go Dees!

Indeed.

We used a 2nd and two 3rds to bring in Fullerton, Billings and McAdam.

Lost Jordan, Harmes and Grundy: depth or surplus to needs. Hibberd, Dunstan retired.

And we have 6 and 11 to use in the draft

I think that's a good outcome

Essentially we've swapped Grundy for Fullarton/McAdam and Harmes for Billings. If we finish higher on the ladder than Sydney and Bulldogs then we've also upgraded our future 2nd and 3rd round picks in the process.

+ 500k I'd say overall

Did we win the trade period?

I mean it’s a tough sell to say we did.  We have lost an AA ruck who if nothing else was brilliant cover when Max went down and probably contributed to Max finishing the season in better shape(even with his toe) than the year before.
JJ & Harmes out for McAdam and Billing’s. Time will tell on those I suppose  but saints aren’t as good as us and they were willing to pay part of his wages to get him out the door.
Improved pick 14 to pick 11 and paid a hefty price to do so but given JT sees merit in doing so you’d have to back him.
Put it another way- do you think our list is better or worse than this time last year?

Lycett and other delisted rucks and State league rucks, will be around if we want to Rookie one, as further backup for a year or so for Max.

I suppose it depends on where Verall is at and if he, Fullarton and Schache are sufficient, if Max is injured.

Appreciate the response but wasn't ment to be a serious question. We've done ok but who knows how the future will pan out.

We're definitely going to win the draft though

First time I've really listened to trade talk, and yes I think Lamb did a very good job this year improving our position. Maybe we could of done better, maybe not.  Hopefully there is still more talk to be had before we go to the draft, but if things stay as is I'm pretty happy with #6, and #11.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
