  1. Do we have room for M.Hore, K.Brown, and Melksham?
  2. Goad is a good hit out, but his ball skills are very green. And we already have 2 other developing rucks, not that I know how well they are going.
  3. I do like Windsor for our pick 11; but I'd be a little concerned if we couldn't get Curtin at #6 and might end up with Sanders and Windsor as our 2 picks. How far away are D. Turner and Jefferson from breaking in the side, cause we do have future KPP issues with May, Petty, BBB, and McDonald. Do we need to bolster our tall stocks more importantly than taking best available that might be 2 midfields?
  4. Maybe McVee is capable, but I would of thought he didn't have the agility for a potential midfield player. If we going to give an existing player a midfield run, I think Rivers would get a crack before McVee. But as to the topic, I'd like to see one of either Sanders, Windsor, or Wilson rather than Collard for similar sized kids who if you really wanted a small half forward flank type player could start in that position and build on it to where they will end up.
  5. Regarding the vote for trading Curtin for F1(WC), can WC actually make the offer? Do they still have F2(WA)? If so, I voted yes.
  6. So does every team really. There are those who want to rise in the draft, and those who are looking to trade down for more picks.
  7. Its a no from me. We don't need small forwards, if we going small rather focus on the future midfield talent since we lost JJ, Harmes, and Dunstan. AMW can't be our only backup plan.
  8. Not happening. As if WC would give away two pick 1's. And I've said it before, they would want 2, not 3. You've got more chance with a simple trade of WC: In 3, 6; Out: 1, 23 North: In 1, 11, 23; Out, 2, 3 MFC: In: 3; Out: 6, 11 And to do this for Duursma or McKercher to me is mistake, when we can get 2 really good players for our future at 6 and 11.
  9. I mean WC won't do any deal unless they get 2 so that confirms they get their guy. If NM gets 1 and Dee's get 2, they could still miss out on who they want. So why wouldn't you accept 3, unless its not Duursma you are after, but Curtin?
  10. Dogs probably won't but between WCE, North, and Hawks he is a chance to be taken before we get a look in. If he does go before us, we might actually take O-Sullivan before Sanders since there is more midfield talent to be taken at 11, whereas there is not alot of choice for KPP thereafter.
  11. It is a strong hand, they would not trade 2+3 for 1; however I definitely could see them trading 2 and 15+ for 1. All North need to entice WC is another pick around 10. This would guarantee Curtin and another good player. Although Curtin might be be available at 6, I don't think WC will risk 6 as their best chance for him. Dee's on the other hand will be happy with either Curtin or Sanders depending on who is still available at 6. This scenario requires either WB/Haw to be super interested in Watson or another over these two or we could miss out on both.
  12. I'd love Billy Wilson to come to Dee's, he is so under-rated. A lot like Rivers who can carry the ball through the middle from half back and hit a leading target inside 50. Even though he is under-rated, I still expect someone to pick him up by the end of 2nd round picks, and my sources say the Dee's haven't even interviewed him so he is not on our radar.
  13. I think we've been saving 42 for K.Brown.
  14. I disagree, North's list is full of midfielders. If north can't get Reid, they really should be choosing Curtin and Duursma and both of these guys I think are worth more than just Harley Reid. I would take any of these three at the Dee's but unless we trade up, I think they are going to be taken.
